Positve Feedback--Wow! This is the coolest game since Half Life! With great graphics, cool levels, and a well made mission, this game will suit your needs in every way! The creators of this game (THQ) decided to make a game that was a bit different from the others. They made a game that would let you blow holes in walls, make your own caves, and for as long as you want too! It is called Geo-mod gameplay. Use a rocket launcher, or mine to blow a hole in the wall. Make the whole bigger--bigger than you'd imagine! I know that i am getting off track, but it is extremely cool. You can even do this on Multiplayer with up to 32 players on line, on over 50 action packed levels! With a fast connection to the server, and hardley any lagg, you will be glued to your computer for days! Did i mention the sweet weapons like the Heavy Machine Gun, Grenades,Flame Throwers, Rail Guns, and plenty more to keep the ordinary triigerhappy kid amused! This game is also avalible of Playstation 2.

Storyline--I personally think that Red Faction's storyline is the best storyline I've ever heard from a PC game! You are Parker. A man who thought the planet Mars was going to be a beutiful, romantic place to live. He wanted to move there to work for Ultor's Big mining company, and get away from his untruthful parent's. When he arrived, "Armored Guards" threw him off the shuttle. They stripped everyone on board, and put them in used, uncomfortable, mining suits. The people were forced to sleep in filthy rooms covered if sweat, blood, puke, and many other sick components. They were forced to work in the mines barracks, day in day out. Guards were beating humans, and killing them off daily. Their was also a deadly plague sweeping the mines that had no cure. One minute your standing next to a fellow miner, and the next he's dead adjacent to the ground next to you. This place is similar to a concentration camp, but much harsher, and on Mars.
Parker and his fellow miners were sick, and tired of Ultor, and the mines. So they decided to form a faction. The "Red Faction" It made a message saying "come forth miners, lets kill the guards, Kill Ultor, and get the hell of this miserable planet." Soon miners were raging against Ultor's guards and fighting for their chance to get to 1 of the 2 rocket ships back home. And you are the main guy in charge of the faction. It's up to you to get off this planet, stop Ultor, and claim peace for Mars. I hope you can do it!

Tips and Strategies--

-If you are stuck and not sure how to get to the next zone, look everywhere for a switch, or key. If you can't find it, try blowing a whole in the wall and get through that way!

-While fighting large quanities of enemies, it can be frustrating. Use the correct weapon (for example--Rocket Launcher) to blow your enemies away all at once.

-Always use your straff keys when dodging enemy fire, or going around blind corners.

-If out of ammo, check dead bodies for more ammo. If your lucky, they might have a new weapon.

-If you are getting spotted while in a disguise, and you are purposely killing inocent people, chances are you aren't hiding the body. Hit use while looking over them to drag the body around.

A funny way to torture your enemies is to throw a remote charge on a guards body. He will drop his weapon, and run around yelling in fright that he will be blown up. Wait until he runs by his fellow guard friend, or friends then detonate the mine, killing all the guards he was near. Hahaha! You may also do this with a flame thrower, to see them burn and catch others on fire! (Note: this will only work on single player mode for the pc!)

Cheat Codes--while playing hit ~ (its below esc.) Then type in the following.

bighugmug--gives you all the ammo, and weapons in the game.
vivalahelvig--gives you god mode (that is invinsibility.)
heehoo--allows you to fly (flight mode.)
alternate veiw--gives you 3rd/1st person veiws whili in gameplay.
