| Positive feedback--Half life is by far one of the best PC FPS games ever made. From the first day it was released it became PC Gamers #1 list on two top-fifies games lists! If you like intense action, and extremely fun gameplay, you will certainly enjoy this game. Also the multiplayer deathmatch mode is very immersive and addicting, you will never get bored, even with up to 32 players online! Negative feedback--Half-Life gets hard in some places, sometimes requiring hours of concentration to get past one point. Some of the character animations can also be glitchy. |
| To use cheat codes, open the Target line in the right-click menu, and add to the line " -dev -console". Then during gameplay, bring down the menu by pressing the tilde button (right under the escape button) and enter any one of these codes. |
| Tips and strategies: -When reloading, always find cover from your enemy's firing range so you don't get shot. -When being shot at, jump or duck to avoid enemy fire. -If you are hurt or low on armor use the pop machines, or health boxes on the wall to get more health. -If you are confronted with the enemy and think you ae going to die, run back to the previous area and look for health and weapons, then go back and blow their heads off. -When playing multiplayer it can be frustrating, so practice by playing alone to get to know the area and good locations. |
| The story line--It all started at Black Mesa testing labs in Arizona. Scientists were cunducting an experiment, and it went terribly wrong. Aliens broke lose killing many people at the labs, and destroying other important documents. Soon soldiers were called in to control the situation, and put an end to the aliens. As it turns out the soldeirs are just as bad. They are planning to kill the aliens, take over Black Mesa, and personally kill you! Your task is to kill the aliens, save Black Mesa, and Save the world. Are you up to it? |
