Positive Feedback- Just like the other Half Life games made by Sierra Studios, this game packs punch! Although it is a single player game it is still a very good one. It is a farely short Half Life addon compared to the others but it is still one of the best. This particular game has a lot of new features. Including a new main character named "Barney Calhoun". No more Gordon Freeman in Half-Life games this year. It has new Aliens, and soldiers, better levels, and new lines for the guards, and scientists! Also if you buy this game it will come with "Opposing Force", another great game by Valve! If you like the other Half Life games so far, add this to your collection!

Negative Feedback- Animations get glitchy in some places (as in most Half-Life games), the flashlight sometimes will not work through the entire game making it extremely hard to complete because there are so many dark (and scary) places. The game is much easier than all other Half-Life games, and gets kind of boring in some places.

The Storyline- Half-Life: Blue Shift is a lot like Game of the Year, it is pretty much the same story line. A security guard at the Black Mesa facility named Barney Calhoun was minding his own business one day when an experiement went horribly wrong, opening up the gateway to the planet of Zen, allowing killer aliens to flood the planet. Calhoun must get through the Black Mesa facility, and get the the planet of Zen to try and save the world, and himself.

Strategies and helpful tips:

-When Reloding find cover so you don't get shot at by the soldiors, or aliens.

-Never crawl through caves, heater vents, or dark areas without using a flashlight.

-If you are running low on health, go back to the previous area and find a health box, or pop machine to get more health and armor.

-Make sure that your weapon always has a full clip, reload it whenever you are clear of enemy fire.

-After you kill a soldior, pick up their gun for ammo. Ammo gets scarce in some places, so get a lot of it.
