| Conclusion
I gladly admit that, while I have many questions about the way things are done and how they could be done better, I dont really have the answers. What we really need to realize is that no one person has the answers. We need to come together as a nation and work on the problems, brainstorm for answers, think outside the box. Anyone and everyone could have a good idea that solves one piece of the puzzle. I really dont know why I wrote this letter. I just felt the need to put my thoughts out there. I dont really think anyone will ever read this or that it will have any chance to change anything. It is just one drop in the vast bucket. It is not flashy or sexy and I see little hope that it will accomplish anything. But I do have hope. I have hope for change; hope for us now and for generations to come. I hope we can get past the divisions, past the differences, past the way we have done things in the past and on to a new and bright future. Because, in the end, we have more in common with each other than we realize. |
