And now,for the gory details..........
I was born in Kuala Lumpur way back in 1965.Spent the first 9 years of my life in Kuantan,before moving to Klang in 1974,and after my 2 years in UK in 1989-90,
I eventually settled down in Kuala Lumpur.
Started my Piano lessons at 7 and completed my grades by 16.Taught music
whilst still in school and took up the Electronic Organ in my early 20s.
In 1988 I was sent by TECHNICS Malaysia to Japan to undergo an intensive 1-month course and came back with my Lecturer's grade in Electronic Organ Performance.
In 1989,I decided to head to London where I studied music part-time for 2 years,both with private tutors as well as at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London
(Yup,that's where DIDO studied as well!!)
Came back to Malaysia in 1991 armed with a couple of Diplomas and I continued teaching music for a while.I started performing publicly at 16 and subsequently
started performing professionally in Hotels & Lounges when I was 20.
In 1995,after 10 years of performing,I decided to venture into business and set up FRANKFORT PROMOTIONS to promote quality entertainment at a reasonable price,which has remained the company's philosophy up till this day.
I have also invested into Sound Reinforcement,Lighting and Musical Instruments.
I surf the net occasionally and my fave sites are those that are associated with Professional Audio.
I also like to travel when I have the time (and resources!)and have travelled all over Malaysia,England,Scotland,Cyprus,Japan,Philippines,Brunei,Hong Kong and Singapore.
My favourite TV programmes being,"A Cook's Tour"(Mmmm...my 2 fave interests,food and travel!),"The Apprentice" and "Entourage"
Nowadays,I spend most of my time concentrating on my business.
Thanks to my company's loyal clients and supporters,not forgetting the great musicians and support crew I have working for me,business has been fantastic!
My future plans are to expand my business by diversifying into the various related fields,and if possible,to retire by 45,with a villa by the sea!!!
