Formed in early 1998,APU consists of 7 skilled and experienced percussionist.Some of the percussion instruments used during APU's highly-energetic performances are :  the Brazilian SURDO;the Indian TABLA and TAVIEL;the Malaysian KOMPANG and FLUTE;the Trinidadian STEEL PAN;the African DJEMBE ;and a growing number of other percussive instruments.
