Lost
Don't know where to look now
I've gazed in every direction possible.
Walked down all the avenues
East, South, North, West.
Everytime I look
I think I catch a glimpse
Of someone familar in the dark
But its only a shadow in my brain.
Blinded now walking through the rooms
An endless journey everyone takes.
Why is mine so dark? Why am I alone?
Will no one help me?
Screaming in silence
Clutching my chest
Filled with fear
I don't know where to turn, lost in the night.
If anyone can hear me
Please help me find my way
A little woman, lost and alone
Who to trust? Who to believe?
Will daylight ever come?
