Goodbye for Now

Stomachs lurch as the day dawns and we realise that we are without you again and always will be.

Missing from our lives suddenly, gone onto a better place, breaking our hearts and filling our minds with memories from the past.

We would rather have you here free from the pain, free from hospitals and frustration. Full of life and laughter again.

But you have gone, and we will miss the jokes.

Sleep in peace. It is sad that it is only in death that we suddenly appreciate life.

This is not goodbye forever, it is more of a "See you later".

Keep the seat warm for us, we want to be your audience again and listen to the laughter without a heavy heart.

Goodbye for now.
