| FOZIA'S GOAT FARM |
| My farm consists of: Goats "Free Range" Chickens Pit-bulls I have been farming since 2004 and I would not change things for the world. I love my job and I love my animals. I am seeking to have 100 female goats in my heard. Right now I have 60 so I have a little bit more to go, but I know that soon I will have my 100. My goats are having babies and all of the babies are female. So I will achieve this goal of 100, Insha Allah. Al-Hamdilullah I have started to upload my pics. Some useful information that I have learned while raising my GOATS: They need plenty of fresh water all day long. If they get sick, treat them right away. Goats do not do well with illness they expire very rapidly if you let them go even for a day it may be too late. Keep baking soda on hand for any gastric problems. Give them at first sight of having any type of upset stomach or if you do not see them chewing while sitting down. Must graze all day long. Love green grass (Alfalfa) but do not give in big quantities. If they are shouting, then there is something wrong with them and you have very short time to diagnosis what is wrong with them. Tend to them immediately of any shouting. They love to be social. Give two teaspoons of Mustand Oil twice per month to keep any gastric problems away; plus this makes their coat shiny as well. Some useful information that I have learned while raising my CHICKENS: They can handle sickness better than a goat can. At first sight of illness, get some homeopathic medicine to treat. Drink a lot of water all day long. Chickens love garlic. Give garlic daily to keep them healthy. Chickens love to nibble all day long on bugs in the dirt. Chickens love green grass (Alfalfa). Give skim milk twice per month. Give sugar water once per month. They do not like to alarm everyone about their eggs but they will shout to the heavens when other hens lay eggs. They have a pecking order and all of the hens know their order. My pit bulls are the most beloved dogs in the world. They make wonderful pets as well as very good watchdogs. They are great with the goats but not so good with chickens. They would love to eat my chickens if they had the chance to. They are very loyal and loving and need so much love and attention. Very easy to train, so this makes them very smart, but also loves to get into things so you must put dangerous things up out of their way. Buy lots of food they love to eat three times per day. I hope this helps you for now. I will be updating this site from time to time so please come back soon. Tell all of your friends about this site and if you would like more information or have any questions then please email me and I will do my best to answer you to the best of my ability. Until then Allah Hafiz. |
