Summer is here and its totally up to you how you will spend your days and nights. Just to give you an idea, Ive listed a few activities you can enjoy aside from going to the beach.

Take note that the operative word here is
E-N-J-O-Y. So when you choose to do something, pick the activity you are 201 % sure you will finish. Same goes for the activities for kids.

Remember,
F-U-N gets lost if one is forced to do something they are not into. So dont force it just for the glory of bragging about it in the future.
FOR ADULTS ONLY

Establish or Join A Sports Club --  Sports, whether contact / physical sports or those mind challenging ones, are always a fun way of killing time. Check out your barangay if there are any Sports League or Tournament you can sign up with. If there arent, then form your own team and hold your own Tournament yourselves. You can tap the Senior and Junior Barangay Council Members in your community for this and Im sure theyd be happy to help you. You can also write to your Municipal Officials, especially your District Representatives, for some sponsorship. By the way, if you dont have any sports in mind, why not give unconventional sports a try. Remember our childhood games of Patintero, Moro-Moro, Tumbang Preso, Chinese Garter, Taguan, and Luksong Baka.

Take up Badminton --  If there are no more badminton court available at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, you can now book some court time at Camp Badminton, either at their FTI Estate Branch in East Service Road, Taguig City or in their newly opened branch in La Pavillion in Roxas Boulevard (near the Toyota Showroom). Just look for Arlene at the following contact nos. (632) 838-4301 local 3915; 833-6053 or (Mobile) 0920-4042928.

Learn to Cook --  Cooking is a fulfilling - all pun intended ;) - activity anytime, anywhere. Ive listed some of the culinary schools in Metro Manila which offers short courses. You can contact them for inquiries and reservations. Remember: some schools usually require that you reserve a slot at least 3 days ahead. I recommend that you enroll in a hands-on program especially if you are a beginner. However, if there is no hands-on program, make sure you go to the school early, so you can get a good seat.
