Okay, since I’m getting a little
delusional here,
why not go all the way by
pretending that I’m
already a making headlines (in other
magazines of
course, not just in AhMusing, dummy!) and Vanity
Fair has just asked me to answer a
Proust
Questionnaire? So, here we go…
What is your motto?
To
borrow my favorite author’s line,
“Better
alone than badly accompanied.”
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Waking up everyday free from all worries and problems… and I
mean all.
Which living person do you most admire?
Someone who plans to do something great and actually do it.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Being a worry wart.
What is your greatest extravagance?
My collections: Books, Videos and Food (oh, the last one don’t
last long)
What is your most treasured possession?
Duh! My collections, of course…hello?
What is your favorite journey?
Going through the road of maturity. Still haven’t reached the
place yet.
Got lost 4 years ago and I still couldn’t find the next exit.
On what occasion do you lie?
I don’t. Notice how good I am at it?
What is your greatest fear?
Dying last.
Which talent would you most like to have?
Does being able to wave a simple stick into a magic wand counts?
What is your current state of mind?
Anxiety - So many deadlines to
meet and I cannot decide which one I should
do first: my Real Work or the Ezine?
Denial - For thinking I can pull it off.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Managing to release every issue of this Ezine on time? Oh, I got
a better one:
Being able to touch someone’s life.
What is your favorite occupation?
I’d like to be occupied with nothing from time to time. But I
enjoy reading,
daydreaming, watching movies and eating (hey! gasoline,
remember?) that’s
why I’m a good writer.
What is the quality you most like in a man?
Honesty and Humbleness
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Having a kick ass attitude.
Who are your heroes in real life?
Partly because of the US-Iraq War nowadays and partly because
Band of Brothers
(HBO 10-part series) is still fresh in my mind, I can only think
of the war
veterans as my heroes. In particular, the men of Easy Company
(WWII’s 101st airborne):
Major Richard Winters, Wild Bill Guarnere, Speirs, etc.
Who are your heroes of fiction?
Does Damian Lewis count? He played the role of Major Winters in
BoB series.
Of course, the heroes from my all my favorite books…
Who are your heroines in real life?
Lady Diana comes to mind --- tragic endings and all…
Who are your heroines of fiction?
Sofia Rose Cardinella from Kylie Adams’ Fly Me to the Moon book.
Who are your favorite writers?
Hilarious romance writers like N. Roberts, J. Lindsey, J.
McNaught, J. Garwood,
J. Devereaux and Kylie Adams, to name a few.
