John Drummond Descendants

                            John Drummond was born 15 Nov. 1809 in Dumfries, Scotland and died 8 July 1874 in

                            Labette County, Kansas.  He married Catherine Walker on 31 Oct. 1837 in Ontario,

                            Province, Canada.  Catherine was born 7 Mar. 1820 in Dungamon, County Down,

                            Ireland and died 5 Feb. 1888 in Labette County, Kansas.

                            John and Catherine of Hamilton, Canada came to New York State the spring of 1849.  In

                            1853 they  moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan.  They moved to Pine Village, Warren County,

                            Indiana in  1858.  On March 11, 1870 they arrived in Labette County, Kansas.  They were

                            accompanied by their sons, James and John, and daughter Ruth.  James brought his wife

                            Sarah, son Charles and daughter Marietta.
