Japan Airport 11:30am:
Darien stepped from the airport and took a deep breath of the fresh Japan air.
I cant believe its been one whole year since I last saw this place, I cant wait to see everybody, especially my Serena. Even though I had girls chasing me around at Harvard, I still couldnt stop thinking about Serena. I was so happy when I received letters from her. And when I wrote her back, even though I did fail to mention the girls chasing me around, I knew that she would get jealous. Even though I myself got jealous when I read in her letters that she had made a new friend that reminded her of me, this Seiya, I dont like him, Im not sure why, but I know I dont like him.
Darien called a cab and told the cab driver to take him home to his apartment. When Darian arrived at his apartment he walked inside the door and was surprised to see that Serena wasnt there to greet him, he was a little disappointed too. He figured that everybody must be down at the arcade. He put his things away, took a shower, clothed, and headed out the door down the street to the aracade.
At the arcade:
�Come Serena cheer up, Dariens coming back today!� Mina said.
�Im happy hes coming home today Mina, its just..� Serena replied.
�Your going to have to tell him what happened eventually� said Ray.
�I dont have to tell him anything Ray, just shut up about it okay?� yelled Serena.
�Dont have to tell me what Serena?� Darien said as he walked into the arcade.
�Darian! Its nothing dont worry about it� said Serena.
She walked up to Darien and gave him a small hug, then stepped back and smiled up at him. He looked down at her and smiled back. But he noticed that something was different about her. And there was something different about her. She had her hair up in a high pony tail instead of the usual meatballs, she wore a pair of hip hugging blue jeans and a baby blue sweater. But her eyes was the thing that looked the most different. They didnt have that spark in them that Darien had seen so many times. He looked deeper into her eyes and saw there was a glint of saddness behind and what was this? It looked as if she was scared and in pain.
�Serena are you ok, did something happen while I was gone?� Darien asked her.
Serena got a worried look in her face. Does he know? The girls and Andrew all glanced at each other with the same expression.
�Of course nothing happened, Im just so glad to see Darien, I missed you� said Serena in a rush.
Darien smiled at her but still felt that something was wrong. But he shook it off. Besides he knew that if there was something wrong that Serena would tell him. All of a sudden heard a loud POP and balloons started flying everywhere and loud music started to play. Darien looked around and started to smile real big.
�Hehe surprise Darien!� giggled Serena.
�Thank you everyone� said Darien.
Everyone started to dance and have a good time. A few hours later everyone was tired so they decided to clean up and go home. Serena and Darien decided to go back to their apartment.
(ok you may be confused at this point so let me clear up some stuff. Darien and Serena are NOT married but they do live together. Serenas 17 and Dariens 19. Andrew and the scouts parents know everything now. The starlights are in this story. Rini will eventually appear for a short time, but to only talk to Serena, noone else will see her. There will also be a battle with their biggest enemy yet. Okay well hope that cleared up a few things and back to the story now)
Serena and Darien arrived at their apartment a while later. Serena went into their room and changed into her pink bunny pajamas. She came back out and sat beside Darien on the couch. Darien scooted over and held Serena in his arms.
�I missed you so much Serena, I love you so much too� he whispered in her ear.
�I love you too Darien� Serena whispered.
Serena turned her head to face Darien. They looked deeply into each others eyes and slowly started to kiss. The kiss soon became deeper and they fell back on the couch. Serena on top of Darien. Darien slowly started to put his hand up the back of Serena�s shirt and started to message her back. He then started to deepen the kiss even more. Serena noticed this and started to get nervous.
�Stop!� she yelled.
�Whats wrong Serena?� Darien asked.
�Just no now ok Dar� said Serena
Darien looked disappointed but nodded that he understood. Darien sat up and decided to turn on radio.
Yes thats right folks, the three starlights have decided to put on a concert next Saturday at the Tokyo Cal. Order your tickets now. You wont want to miss this show. Its going to be a fantastic show! And in other news...
�That sounds like fun, want to go Serena? Darien asked.
�Umm are you sure you want to go, we dont have to if you dont want to�
�Of course I want to go, It�ll be fun�
�Ok if your sure�
It was then getting late so they decided to retire to bed. They lay down and Darien turned to Serena and was about to give her a goodnight kiss.
�Just sleep okay� said Serena.
�Ok Serena�
Oh I wish I could tell him whats been going on since hes been gone. But Im just too scared. What if I tell him and he decides that he doesnt love me anymore? What will I do then? I cant live without him, I cant even imagine it. And that concert he wants to go to, I really dont want to go but if I say no then he�ll get suspicious. Oh what did I get myself into? A small tear found its way down Serena�s cheek as she drifted off to sleep.
Darien stared at the back of Serena�s head and he heard her begin to cry.
Whats going on with her? Why doesnt she just tell me whats wrong? Whatever it is, Im going to find out and soon. And with that last thought he fell off to sleep.
