Face Painting
I had my own small business for 3 years painting faces
at markets while I was in highschool. Its a great business to be in, because you can set up anywhere and it is so popular for such a range of events like kids parties, costume balls, sporting events and markets.

All you need to start is a card table, two fold-up chairs, red, yellow, blue, black and white paint. (You can mix all other colours and put them in small jars) Some brushes of different fineness, a few sponges for bases, and a container for water. - Pretty simple! And you can charge according to the complexity of the design, eg. a tattoo, a half face, or a full face design.

To attract the most business, you should paint your own face and wear a costume to match. Nothing advertises you better than you do! And everyone will love it.

Well thats all my tips, good luck! Most importantly have fun! I hope you get some ideas from the pictures I have here!

I have to thank my lil brother and my mum for letting me paint them. Although its generally children that like facepainting, adults are better to paint because they keep very still. A steady hand and a good sitter is the key!
