| Gestapo was the Nazi State State Police. They took and hurt thousands during the Third Reich. The War Crimes Commission identified organizations such as Gestapo criminals. It was a crime to even be a member of this group. Throughout Germany the concentration camps came under the control of the SS, but the Gestapo had the power to send it's victims to them. On the other hand, through a political section in the camps' headquaters, it could make prisoners be executed or even released. |

| SS is a word meaning "protection squad" in German. It became a private Nazi army separate from the German army, and turned into the most powerful organization in the Third Reich. SS stands for Schutztaffel. It was Hitler's bodygaurd, the nazi party police, and became the most racist gaurd of the Third Reich. WWII led to an enormous growth in the SS as a whole and turned into a violent group. |

| The Gestapo turned into the Nazis' main tool of oppresion and destruction. The Nazi Party only likes anti-Jews and anti-Christians just like the gestapo and the SS. |

| The Secret State Police was a police like Gestapo which destructed the Jews. Gestapo is a Secret State Police, which originated in the Polictal Department of the police headquarters. |
