What is a tft you might ask? A tft is a Toy Fox Terrier.Still don't know? They are sweet, hyper,loving,out going,and every other possitive thing you can think of.They fiercly love thier family and they anticipate their owners every thought.Nothing gets past their keen hearing and when you pair this with their alert nature,they are exceptional watch dogs.While a TFT is very lovable, they are NOT for everyone.They do not do well in homes with little children because of their small size and sensitve nature.I believe no toy dog should be in a home with small children.TFTs are very easy to keep because they eat very lilttle and because of the very little grooming.Our TFTs eat about a cup of dry dog food every day with a tablespoon of wet dog food.A tft will require brushing once a week to prevent shedding, excess brushing is not prohibited( they love to be brushed), they will need nail clippings , and an occasional bath, unless they have a flea problem or they like to roll in mud.If you cannot commit to even this,you do not even need a dog.TFTs are very versatile and would be happy exploring the out doors or relaxing in the sun on the sofa.They would do good in a kennel with plenty of exercise or an apartment with daily walks.If you are still think a TFT is right for your family, then get recomendations from breeders or go to a breeder and ask to see the parents of your puppy before you purchase it.
Remember : Tfts are not for everyone, they are not good with small children,they do requrie qrooming,even if very little,they do not require alot of food, and they are very smart dogs.. |
