Foxxfyrre's Early Works Sketchbook
I'm including scans of my earliest art work, no matter how rough some of the art is. I haven't been drawing very long--really--and wanted to include these pictures.
I'm dedicating this gallery to two people, first: Jason King, a good friend and very good artist who had the patience to show me a few things about drawing--which turned out to be many things over many hours of coffee. Second: Dr. Betty Edwards and her book "Drawing on the right side of the Brain". I've never met Dr. Edwards, but after I purchased her book, my ability to draw, and 'see' what I am drawing really started to develop. For anyone who wants to learn to draw, or think they can't draw period, this book really will bring the artist out in you. Wherever possible in this gallery, I will identify before and after drawings and identify assignments that I drew using methods directly from Dr. Edwards's book.
