My Hand Drawing Assignment
This is one of the first assignment drawings from Dr. Betty Edwards' book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.
My career was still in high gear, but after drawing a going away picture for some friends, I found that drawing was very relaxing and a good way to get away from the stress at work. Jason's career also changed a couple of years prior, so our long coffees and drawing sessions were over as well. Then I stumbled on Dr. Edwards' book and started to work through it. The rest of the art in this gallery is either direct exercises from the book, or art done using the principles from the book.
