Leaving Home
The premise behind this picture is what if the craters we see on barren planets didn't come from impacts, but rather the entire civilization, cities and all, evacuating the planet. This is one of my first ink drawings and up to this point I had very little practice with cross-hatching.
This picture is unfinished because at this point in time my career changed and free time was almost non existent. Drawing was put on the back burner for almost three years.
