Valentines
Hearts were everywhere on Saturday, February 12th as Foxboro celebrated Valentines. The events crew decorated at 5:00 p.m. to be ready for 7:30 p.m. party time. Marg Macdonald brought a ladder to help with high placements but chief decorator Charlotte Burnstine brought her own ladder, husband Don, making a real ladder redundant. Charlotte made hearts to which she attached curlycued ribbons that swooped and dangled, giving the salons a very festive air. Heart shaped balloons and cupids completed the Valentine mood. Fifty-one enthusiasts were there to enjoy the entertainment, snacks and dancing.

Not everyone knows that Don and Charlotte Burnstine have started videotaping significant events at Foxboro as a part of building our archives. Our surprise entertainment included videos of the "Great Gathering of Cows in Foxboro Meadows", "The Return of Foxboro's Swans to their Winter Home" and "Millennium Celebrations Foxboro Style" our New Year's Eve entertainment starring May Aquilina, Ken Smith, Larry Skitch, Russ Wilson and Don Fraser. Everyone loved the videos! We had good snacks and great company!

Anyone interested in working on Archives, please call Marg Macdonald at 634-5633.

Remember to check the Mail Room for notices of on-going events. Card Games, Swimming etc.
