Note from the Editors
We are pleased to be able, with the addition of a scanner, to incorporate pictures into our newsletter. Thank you for your patience as we learn our way around in desk top publishing.
Your expressions of appreciation have encouraged us over these last few months. One comment that came from new comers to our community was It's a labour of love. That's it! That captures exactly how we feel. You are our friends and neighbours and we prepare this paper as though it were a valentine we were giving to you personally. It's nice to know that came across.
We are new at this and so it entails lots of learning. We have a vision for Fox Talk. We want it to reflect the warm caring community we find here. Besides the necessary reports and calendar, we would like to include human interest stories concerning our community that will help us get to know one another better; salt and pepper it with a little humour and inspiration; and hopefully leave you feeling good when you finish reading Fox Talk.
But we cannot accomplish this alone We need your input and help from time to time. With this in mind we have prepared a survey to help us discern what YOU envision this paper to be, and to include any ideas and suggestions you may have. Thank you
Bill and Maureen Wills

More Greetings from the Sunny Florida
These come from Hugh & Phyllis Bird and Olwen Niessen in Naples, Jim & Brenda Churton , Sarasota, and from Bill & Lucille Balcomb at Cape Coral.
All the letters had one thing in common. They are glad to have escaped the shivering and shovelling we have been experiencing here. Jim and Brenda, who left the south to come and move into Foxboro Green just before Christmas, returned as quickly as possible to warmer weather. They write: We ...don't always relish the return (to Ontario). This year we can look forward to enjoying our new home and getting to know our new friends and neighbours.
Bill Balcomb poses this question : Now that the excitemnt of manicuring a brand new lawn for a few months is beginning to wear off, perhaps more mower pushers might like to have their cutting done for them, (especially after a winter of snow shovelling).
He wondered if those interested could send their names in and if there was a larger number than the 3 or 4 last year, a better price might be negotiated with whoever wins the lawn maintenance contract. To save a lot of phone calls we have made provision at the bottom of the attached survey where homeowners can answer this question and we will see that the appropriate people get the information.
Bill and Lucille conclude with We sure enjoy Fox Talk and hope one is on it's way. It may interest the reader to know that we send eight Fox Talks down South each month, to those who have requested it,and we know some kind neighbours are doing the same for others.
INTERESTED IN A MEN'S CLUB?

BOOKS FOR THE LIBRARY
Many have offered books for our library, and now is the time to start getting them ready. If you are only loaning them, you should write in the front, ON LOAN and your name. Watch for a further notice in the next Fox Talk. Meanwhile we need someone who will organize these books. Please see the end of the attached survey for your response. If you have more questions about this call Maureen Wills.

REMINDER re: ZEHRS TAPES
If you shop at any of the Zehrs grocery stores your cash register receipts could help us aquire items needed for our new Foxboro Centre. It would be appreciated if you would circle the total of your food bill, and if you wish to total all your tapes before handing them in that too would be helpful. When The Centre is ready there will be a box supplied where you may deposit them. Until that time you may give any tapes to Rita Hill, Marg Wendland or Maureen Wills. Thankyou.
A TRIBUTE TO GLORIA
It was with shock and sadness that we learned of the death of Gloria Coghill who had been Bob Barnhart's secretary for 16 years. On Saturday, February the 1st, Gloria had a stroke at her home and remained on life support until the following Wednesday, the day she passed away.
Gloria was the first person most of us met when we visited the Reidco office. We will miss her warm welcome and friendly smile.
Few of us had opportunity to discover the wealth and depth that was Gloria. However, in speaking to several of her co-workers and friends we learned that Gloria was a woman of many talents and interests. She was very involved in the life of her church and especially active in the area of music. Not only did she sing in the choir and a quartette, she played the piano and organ as well. Her love for children was reflected in her work with summer Daily Vacation Bible Schools.
Gloria also had an artistic flair which was evident by her lovely home and the beautiful crafts she made. She was always ready and willing to use these talents to decorate for banquets and special occasions.
Said friends and co-workers, Gloria was always the same, always cheerful. ...She always made time for others, it was just part of her nature. ...She was a true and good friend. ...You could never say enough good about Gloria.
Our hearts go out to the family and to her close friends and associates at Reidco who will miss her dearly.
IN MEMORY OF GLORIA COGHILL, who had suffered from a bad heart for some years, it was deemed appropriate that a donation of $50.00 be sent to the HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION from the community of FOXBORO GREEN.
