Foxtale Farm is proud to offer Land's End Whipporwill to select mares for the 2009 breeding season at an introductory price of $600 for AI. Semen will be collected at Cornell University and shipped from the Cornell Reproductive Park or mares may be taken to Cornell.
Whipporwill is a six-year-old 12.2 registered Section B liver chestnut stallion with an expressive face and white socks. He is from one of the most prominent Welsh lines... Land's End and Land's End Carolina's Red Fox. Whipporwill's sire, Land's End Poseidon, is currently standing with Richard Taylor and has sired a number of outstanding foals. One of them, Rosecroft St. Nick, was the sale topper at the 2007 Pony Finals.
Whipporwill is currently under saddle progressing in dressage and also cantering hunter lines. He is extremely intelligent and loves his job. Poseidon and Red Fox would be proud!
