| Chapter 45 Lyn slowly opened her eyes and turned over. She looked across the bed, seeing Brian laying there asleep and smiled, then closed her eyes again. A second later her eyes shot open and she pushed herself up on her elbows. Her movement woke Brian and he looked over at her, his eyes widening as he did. "Oh my God!" they both said, jumping out of the bed. They were standing on opposite sides of the bed, staring at each other, horror in both their faces. As they stared they realized they were both naked, and both reached for the sheet at the same time. After a second of playing tug of war with the sheet, Brian let go and quickly searched the floor, finding a shirt and covering himself with it. "Shit, what the hell did we do?!" Brian asked. Lyn finished wrapping the sheet around herself and looked up at him, "Geez Bri, what does it look like?" He sat down on the side of the bed, his head was pounding, "I can't remember anything." "God, neither can I," Lyn said, sitting on the other side of the bed, "My head hurts." "I think I'm gonna be sick," Brian said, holding his head and rocking back and forth. Lyn walked around the room and found his boxers, tossing them to him. They hit Brian in the face, before he grabbed them and put them on. He sat back down, still rocking back and forth, "Oh God, oh God." "Stop saying that," Lyn said, still searching for her clothes. "I can't help it," he said. "Bri, um...that's my shirt," Lyn said, pointing to the garment Brian had covered himself with. He tossed it to her, and she went into the bathroom, dragging the sheet with her. She got dressed and came back out. Brian was still sitting on the bed, only in his boxers, mumbling to himself. Lyn picked up his t-shirt and handed it to him, "Bri, we were drunk." He looked up at her, "That shouldn't matter. God Lyn, I'm so sorry." "Me to," she said, "I should have stopped it." "How could you? You said we were both drunk?" he asked. "I wasn't as drunk as you were," she confessed. "Still, I shouldn't have done it. Whatever it was, why can't I remember anything?" he asked, confused. "We drank some of A.J.'s stuff," she said. Brian held his head, "Oh God." "You gonna puke?" she asked. He nodded his head. Lyn quickly helped him into the bathroom and lowered him down in front of the toilet just in time. She stayed with him, rubbing his back as he heaved. He stopped and she handed him a wet cloth to wash his face with. "What are we gonna do? The other guys have to know you were in here all night," Brian said. Lyn thought for a moment, "OK, um, how's this? We drank a little to much and you got sick, so I stayed in here with you to make sure you were alright." "Think they'll buy it?" he asked. She smiled at him, "With you looking like you do now? Yeah they will." Brian nodded his head, as another wave of nausea hit him. Brian was still vomiting when Lyn heard someone knocking on the door. She ran to open it, seeing Kevin on the other side. "Hey, it sounds like someone's sick in here," he said. Lyn nodded pointing to Brian in the bathroom. Kevin walked in, "Damn, Bri you alright?" Brian nodded as he heaved again. "We drank a little to much last night," Lyn said, "He's been like this for a while now." "You stay in here with him?" Kevin asked. She nodded. "You should've come and got one of us," he said. "It's OK," she said, re-wetting the cloth and handing it back to Brian. Brian washed his face with trembling hands and handed the cloth back to Lyn. "You done?" she asked. "I think so," he croaked. "Here cuz, I'll help ya back to bed," Kevin said, helping Brian stand up and walking him back to the bed. Kevin went to pull the covers up, realizing the blanket was in the floor, and the sheet was across the room. "Why is the....?" he started. Lyn picked the blanket up and covered Brian with it, "He got sick in his sleep last night, all over the sheet." "Oh, eww," Kevin said, helping her. Brian was holding his head, tears in his eyes, "God my head is pounding." Kevin laughed, "Well, if you two drank all of A.J.'s stuff, no wonder." "Shut up Kev," Brian said. Kevin looked at Lyn, "You don't look so well yourself." "I'm OK, my head hurts, but I didn't drink as much as he did," she said. Kevin patted her on the back, "Well, I'll go scrounge up some aspirin for you both." "Thanks," Lyn said, watching him leave the room. She sat down on the side of the bed, taking Brian's hands away from his head and holding them. He looked up at her, "I'm sorry." She smiled at him, "Don't be, from what I can remember, I liked it." "God, what are we gonna do? How are we gonna look at Nick and Tara, knowing what we did?" he asked. Lyn shook her head, "I don't know." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tara woke and looked around. She was laying on her bed, still in the clothes she was wearing the day before. She could feel the weight of someone else next to her and she lifted her head and looked over. Nick was asleep next to her, his arms around her. She laid her head back down, not wanting to wake him up just yet. She needed to get her mind around what she was doing, and separate her feelings from what she was trying to convey as her feelings to Nick. Somehow her true feelings and those she was revealing to Nick seemed to get confused. She was having a hard time distinguishing which was what. She knew she was in danger of losing herself, and knowing what she would eventually have to do, she didn't see how it wouldn't happen. She just prayed that Tracy and the rest would be able to bring her back. Nick stirred and she looked over. He opened his eyes and smiled at her. She smiled back, getting lost in the blue of his eyes. She'd always loved his eyes, there was just something about them. "What are you looking at?" he asked. Tara blushed and turned to face him, "Your eyes." "What bout them?" he asked. "I dunno, just that I've always liked them. They're the kind that you can get lost in, ya know," she said. Nick blushed a little, "That's sweet." "It's true. That was the first thing I noticed about you when we met," she said. Nick smiled, "The first thing I noticed about you was your smile. I've always loved it." Tara couldn't help but smile, and Nick laughed. "So, what would you like to do today?" he asked. Tara shrugged her shoulders and bit her bottom lip. "What?" Nick asked. She looked down, playing with the front of his shirt, "I um, well since I've been here we haven't truly been alone together. They are always here. I'd just like to have one day alone with you, without them in the house." Nick stared at her for a moment, and she was afraid she'd blown it. He sat up and looked down at her, "I'll see what I can do. I'm kinda getting tired of them being around myself." She smiled at him, "Thanks." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lyn was in her room, getting dressed. She had taken a shower and was feeling a little better. Her head didn't hurt quite as much. Tracy was sitting on the edge of the bed, waiting for her to say something. "Please tell me you weren't here," Lyn said. "I left when I realized what was about to happen," she answered. Lyn stared at her shocked, "God, why didn't you stop us?!" "Lyn, honey, I told you that I couldn't interfere with this," Tracy said. Lyn sat on the end of the bed and put her head in her hands, "God, we screwed everything up." Tracy put her hand on her shoulder, "Honey, these things have a way of working themselves out." Lyn glanced at her, "I screwed my best friends husband, and my boyfriends best friend. Tell me how that's gonna work itself out?" "I don't know," Tracy said. "I can't even look at Brian now without blushing, and I have no idea how I'm gonna face Tara and Nick when they get back," Lyn said, letting her tears fall, "And the worse part is that I remember most of it, and I liked it. How sick is that?" "Lyn, love between two people is not sick," Tracy said. "It is when one is married and the other is his best friends girlfriend," Lyn said. Tracy laughed. "This isn't funny! I can't believe we let ourselves get that plastered," she said. "Lyn, did you stop and think that maybe you both wanted it to happen? That maybe you both drank a little to much, so that you wouldn't feel as guilty about it. That you could blame the alcohol instead of really dealing with why you did it in the first place?" Tracy said. Lyn sighed, knowing what Tracy was saying was probably true. Neither her or Brian had ever drank that much in their lives. Why would they start now? "Maybe you're right," she conceded. "Honey, you and Brian need to figure this out. You need to sit down and find out exactly why you feel what you feel. Is it because you truly do love each other, or is it because you're both missing Tara and Nick, and you're just turning to each other for the comfort?" Tracy said. Lyn sighed again, "I know, we need to talk." When Tracy didn't say anything Lyn looked over at her. She seemed to be listening to something that Lyn couldn't hear. Tracy finally looked over at her, "I have to leave." "What? Why?" Lyn asked. "Tara's put her plan in motion, I need to leave. I'm not sure when we'll be back, but just be ready. Don't let anyone go to the other house," she said. Lyn nodded, "I won't. Be careful." Tracy smiled at her, "I will," and with that she was gone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Somehow, and Tara still wasn't sure exactly, Nick had managed to get everyone to leave the house for the day. Tara was a little nervous, knowing that if she didn't make her move while they were gone, she might not get another chance. Nick had decided to cook them lunch, and was busy in the kitchen, putting his cooking lessons with Howie to good use. Tara sat at the table watching him. Every so often he would look over at her and smile, and she would smile back. When he finished, he served her and they both ate. They engaged in small talk for most of the meal, exchanging looks every so often. When they had finished, they put the dishes away and walked into the great room, sitting down. "So what do you want to do now?" Nick asked. "I don't know, but um can we go to another room?" she asked. "Yeah, why?" Nick asked. "I don't like being in here with that," Tara said, pointing to the rack. Nick looked up at it, his heart dropping at the memory of what he'd done to her. "Tara, do you remember anything that happened while you were kinda zoned out?" he asked. She looked down at her hands, "Not really no. Why?" Nick took her hand in his, "Well, cause I kinda lost it and did some things to you that I regret." "Oh, like what?" she asked. "I put you on the rack and...hurt you. I'm sorry," he said quietly. Tara squeezed his hand, "It's OK. I don't remember it." "Yeah, but I do, and it bothers me. I never wanted to hurt you, and I did," Nick said. "Nick, look at me," Tara said. He looked up. "I forgive you. I don't know what happened, but I don't hold anything against you," she said. He smiled, hearing those words. Tara stood up, taking his hand and pulling him up with her. "Where we going?" Nick asked. She said nothing but lead him back to her room. Nick watched her curiously as she shut the door and turned to face him. "You want to stay in here? I'd think you'd be tired of this room by now," he said. She shrugged, "It's comfortable in here." "Oh," he said, sitting down on the bed. Tara walked over and sat down next to him, taking his hand in hers and rubbing her thumb across the back of his hand. "What are you thinking?" Nick asked. "Just that I've been wanting to do something for a few days but I've been to scared to," she said. "What's that?" he asked. Tara took a deep breath and looked up at him, "This," she said, pulling him down and kissing him. Nick was a little taken aback at her actions, but quickly recovered. This was what he'd wanted from day one, and now here it was, and she was initiating it. Nick broke the kiss and looked at her, "You sure about this?" She nodded her head, "I've been trying to fight it for a while now, but you're right. We do belong together, and I miss what this feels like. I miss us, Nicky." Nick pulled her into a hug, "You don't know how long I've waited to hear that." Tara arched her head up and took his ear lobe in her mouth, gently sucking on it, "Then show me," she whispered. Nick closed his eyes and moaned. She knew exactly where on his ear to send him into pure ecstacy. Nick turned his head and met her lips with his. He slowly caressed them, gently sucking on them. Then he pressed his tongue to Tara's lips, parting them and exploring her mouth. Tara closed her eyes, letting their emotions fill her. It had been so long since she'd felt this, and she was relishing every moment. Nick could feel her excitement as he ran his hands down her body and up under her shirt. He grazed the sensitive spot on her stomach, and she gasped with pleasure. Tara had grabbed his shirt and pulled it over his head, throwing it to the floor. Nick was fumbling with the buttons on Tara's shirt, and finally ripped it open, buttons flying in all directions. They both laughed as Nick lay her back on the bed and crawled up next to her. They lay on their sides facing each other. Tara threw her leg over Nick's to get closer to him. Nick was kissing her passionately, trying to unhook her bra at the same time. He finally got it, and slowly pulled the straps from her shoulders, discarding the garment in the floor. He gazed on her, covering her body with his eyes. Tara reached over and pulled his head back up, engaging him in another mind blowing kiss. As she did, she reached down and unbuttoned Nick's jeans, then unzipped them, slipping her hand in and stroking him. Nick moaned loudly, moving his own hands down and trying to rid Tara of her own jeans. Tara broke the kiss, "Off." Nick sat up and pulled his jeans off, tossing them in the floor. Then he turned and hooked his fingers in the loops of Tara's, tugging on them. She raised her hips and he pulled them off, depositing them on top of his in the floor. Nick leaned down and planted several kisses over Tara's stomach, causing her to squirm. He traced her belly button with his tongue, then gently sucked on it. "God Nick," she whispered, reaching down and grabbing his hair. He smiled, looking up at her and seeing the desire in her eyes. He teased her more, kissing up to her breasts and taking one in his mouth. He flicked his tongue over the hardened nipple, causing her to moan with delight. She reached down and rubbed him through his boxers, "Now, please," she begged. Nick rolled over and sat up, quickly losing the last bit of clothing he had on. Tara did the same, pulling Nick to her on her way back down to the bed. Nick slowly crawled on top of her, positioning himself between her legs. Tara raised up and engaged him in another kiss as he slowly entered her. They both moaned at the feeling, their emotions flooding through them. Nothing else existed at that moment but the two of them. Nick took both her hands and interlaced their fingers as he slowly moved in and out of her. Tara wrapped her legs around his waist, pulling him into her more as he thrust. They both had their eyes closed, completely consumed by their ecstacy. Nick started to quicken his pace, feeling that they were both on the edge. Tara arched her body, meeting his every move. Suddenly she felt Nick being pulled off her and opened her eyes. Gideon and countless others had grabbed Nick and pulled him away from her. Tracy and Jade had her by the arms holding her to the bed. "Nick!" Tara yelled, struggling against them. Nick was fighting with all he had. He managed to throw one of the others across the room before being taken to the ground. "Let go of me!" he screamed, kicking at them. "Stop, don't hurt him!" Tara yelled, trying desperately to get free. "Tara!" Nick yelled, trying to look up and see her. "I'm right here," she called back to him. Gideon bent down and put his hand over Nick's eyes, causing him to fall into an immediate sleep. "Get his clothes on him and get him in the cuffs," Gideon instructed the others. He then walked over to help Tracy and Jade. "No! Let us go!" Tara screamed at him. "Tara, it's us," Tracy said. "Honey, calm down," Jade said. Tara kept struggling, "No, please let us go." Gideon took her face in his hand, making her look at him, "Tara stop this." She shook her head, screaming for Nick. Gideon looked at Jade, and she reached over, putting her hand over Tara's eyes. Letting her go as her body went limp. The two girls immediately started dressing Tara, then cuffed her as well. "I wasn't expecting this," Tracy said, looking at the two. "Neither were we," Jade said. "It's going to be twice as hard now, having to deal with both of them," Gideon said. "I can't believe she did this," Tracy said. "It was the only way, and she knew it. Let's just hope we can get her back from it," Jade said. Gideon looked over to see that the others were ready with Nick. "OK, we'll meet you there," he said. The two girls nodded and each took one of Tara's arms and disappeared. Gideon walked over and helped the others pick Nick up, then they to vanished from the house. To Be Continued......
