| Chapter 28 Gary led Leighanne into the bedroom. He pulled her close and began kissing her passionately, walking her backwards toward the bed. When they reached the bed, Gary bent down and pulled Leighanne's shirt up over her head and threw it on the floor. He then got down on his knees and began taking her pants off all the while kissing her stomach. Leighanne stepped out of her pants and began unbuttoning Gary's shirt. He stood back up and discarded his shirt and pants on the floor. Leighanne lay back on the bed and Gary crawled on top of her. They were kissing passionately and striving to touch every inch of each other's body. Leighanne rolled over on top of Gary and straddled him. She ran her hands down his chest, and leaned over to kiss his neck. Gary put his hand on her head so she couldn't look up and stared straight into the camera hidden in the ceiling. He smiled and mouthed the words--she's mine now. He then moved his hand and got back to Leighanne. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Brian was furious, "You son of a bitch!!" He had to get out of this room and get Leighanne away from this monster. Brian pulled with all his strength, trying desperately to free his hands. They were already raw from previous attempts and the pain was almost to much, but finally Brian managed to pull his right hand free. "Now what do you think you're doing?" Tiras asked. Brian ignored him and started trying to pull his left hand free. Hathath walked over to Brian and put his hand down on his, holding him there. "Your not leaving here," Hathath said. Brian stared at him for a moment, then punched him in the face with all he had. Hathath stumbled backwards, and Brian pulled his left hand out of the cuff. He then scooted down the mattress and started working on freeing his feet. Tiras walked over and grabbed Brian by the throat and pushed him down hard on the mattress. Brian was struggling to breathe, and trying to fight Tiras off him. Hathath joined in and grabbed Brian's hands and pinned them down. Tiras let go of Brian's throat, "You can't win." Brian was coughing, "You're gonna have to kill me to keep me here!" Hathath leaned over Brian's face, "That can be arranged." "Let him sit up," Tiras said. Hathath looked at him for a moment then released the hold he had on Brian's hands. Brian sat up and looked at his wrists. Both of them were bleeding and bruised. Brian then looked up at Tiras, "I'll never stop fighting." "Oh yes you will," Tiras said and reached over and touched the back of Brian's head. Suddenly Brian's head was pounding, his vision began to blur. Brian grabbed his head with both hands and fell back on the mattress. "You see, you're staying right here," Hathath said. Brian was trying to fight against the searing pain, but he didn't have the strength, he passed out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tara ran back into the house to find everyone sitting at the kitchen table. Nick got up and walked over to her, "You OK? You look like you just saw a ghost." "We've gotta find Leighanne, if we find her, I think I can find Brian," Tara said. "I've been trying to call her for two hours now, all I get is her voice mail," Kevin said. "Did she tell anyone where she was staying?" Tara asked desperately. Everyone shook their heads no. Tara sat down and covered her face with her hands, "We've gotta find her before it's to late." "To late for what?" Howie asked. Tara looked up at him and he could see the fear in her eyes, "For Brian." "Tara, what are you talking about?" Kevin asked. She looked up at him, "I can't explain it, just a really bad feeling I have. Kev, we have to find were she's staying." "Wasn't Lee working on a film that was shooting here in town?" A.J. said. "Yeah, she was," Nick said. "That's it!" Tara said. "What's it?" Kira asked. "You have to have permits to film in the city, all we have to do is go to the courthouse and see where they applied to shoot at," Tara said. "I think you've got something, but it'll be morning before we can do that," Kevin said. "I know," Tara said looking completely distraught. Nick leaned down and whispered in her ear, "We'll find him, and he'll be OK." Tara looked up at him, "I hope so." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tiras and Hathath sat in the room watching Brian sleep. "He's stronger than we gave him credit for," Hathath said. "Yeah, just means it'll take a little longer," Tiras said. "What if she actually does manage to find him?" Hathath asked. Tiras looked over at him, "Then she'll have to go too." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nick sat on the edge of the bed watching Tara sleep. He knew she was hiding what she was really feeling for his sake. "What am I gonna do?" he asked. "Bout what?" Howie asked walking into the room. Nick turned around, got up, and ushered Howie back out into the hall. "Nick, is something wrong?" Howie asked. Nick stood there for a long time, not knowing how to answer him. "D, there's just some things going on that I don't quite know how to deal with," Nick finally said. "Like what, maybe I can help," Howie said. Nick put his hand on Howie's shoulder, "No D, I've gotta figure this one out on my own." Howie looked at him, knowing he was torn between something. "Nick, you know we're all here, whatever you need...," Howie said. Nick smiled at him, "I know, and yes Kira can stay here, why not everyone else is." "How'd you know I was gonna ask that?" Howie said surprised. "Come on D, we all know what's goin on between you to, it's written all over your faces," Nick said laughing. Howie started to walk down the hall muttering something bout not being so obvious. Nick laughed at him, and headed downstairs to his office, he needed to think about things. * "I'll go with him," Jade said. "OK, I'll stay with Tara. You think Gideon is having any luck finding Brian?" Tracy asked. Jade shrugged her shoulders, "They seem to be hiding him in the darkness, it's gonna be tough to find him," Jade answered. Tracy watched as Jade followed Nick downstairs. She then went to sit with Tara. * Chapter 29 |
