Foxridge Improvement Association Minutes for 5/21/2001 Meeting called to order by Paul Conkling at 7:05 pm at Homestead Elementary School

Presentation/Question and Answer by Mike Hodgson of CDOT regarding County Line Road Improvements.

COMMUNITY VISITORS: Lee Davis: 1) Great newsletter and ads!! 2) Clarify board members 3) Budget needs more detail.

REPORTS: Budget: Report by temporary treasurer, Terry Riester. 570 Homes have paid dues (60%); Foxtales has generated ad revenue of $1806. Great job Anita. Checking $12,608.79, Savings $3992.15 for balance of $16,600.94.

Covenants: See report. Discussed steps of enforcement, 1st notice postcard, 2nd notice letter is sent, 3rd notice board contacts FIA attorney to pursue legal action. Motion made and approved to have ACC members look into swamp cooler concealment ideas. ACC approval turn around time is 2 weeks. Some siding is allowed, 7 types of roof materials approved, list is available from ACC members.

Maintenance: Report by Terry Riester. Flower Beds put in, sprinkler system is being repaired, weeds need to be re-treated as the rain washed off previous treatments (landscape company is paying for this).

CEN-CORD: Report by Michael Sutherland. Cathy Noon is president of Cen-Cord (previously ACCORD). Our HO group is a member of CEN-CORD. Randy Pye (mayor of Centennial) envisions the role of this organization as more involved with growth and development, transportation, C-470 expansion, water issues, new fire dept., and some concerns regarding patient diversion from area emergency rooms.

GID: Report by Bob Bardwell. Bob spoke with county attorney regarding Terry's salary for overseeing GID projects. We can submit Terry's hours that are spent directing GID projects. We are currently waiting for bids on area signs. Terry will meet with South Suburban to see about bench placements and additional doggy stations.

County Line Road Improvement: Report by Jamie Debartolomeis. Reports of a car dealership being built in our area along County Line. Jamie will contact county for location and zoning meeting.

Covenant Consolidation: We have hired a new attorney to oversee process. We are not ready to present documents or public comment at this time. Hope to be prepared for a fall presentation.

OLD BUSINESS: Sign bids for neighborhoods have been received. Motion made and approved to discuss as board committee on Monday, June 4, 2001.

NEW BUSINESS: Summer Party proposed for late July. Bob Datson is coordinating with Dan Dawkins (pool president).

Update mailing list, how does this occur? Dues paid triggers this?

Zoning questions. Anita will see if an official from zoning can speak to us.

Fireworks. City of Centennial/Arapahoe County had lease obligations to honor. Can't ban firework sales this year.
