Foxridge Improvement Association Minutes for 3/19/01 Meeting called to order 7:10 pm by Scott Bennion at Homestead Elementary School

Minutes of 2/12/01 were approved with correction: Barbara Fischer was present

COMMUNITY VISITORS

REPORTS Treasurer was absent and sent a draft of proposed budget. Lee said it doesn't meet standards. We need to develop time-line, goals in line with budget. Motion passed to table budget. Lee will contact Ann with information about a formal non-profit budget.

County Line Road information: This month CDOT will close Steinmart to Holly stretch. HO can extend their fence to sound abatement wall, but all affected must agree. Much confusion about who owns the right of way, 5 jurisdictions involved. We need to wait to gather signatures on fence extension until R-O-W is settled.

Covenants: ACC drafting meeting Tuesday, February 13 at Conkling residence.

ACCORD: Centennial citizens are involved with ACCORD. ACCORD is respected and looked to for comment on area issues. Lee encourage Anita to become the new ACCORD person.

Landscaping/Maintenance: Otero and Monaco fence section replaced, GID reimbursement submitted. John Riggs expressed his interest in pruning and proper tree care for the area. John is attempting to find a nursery that will offer FoxRidge residents a discount.

OLD BUSINESS Swim club sidewalk: Anita contacted the club and they assured her that the sidewalk will be taken care of.

D/O insurance: No information.

Lee addressed the board and expressed that he joined because he felt obligated to contribute to the community. Lee implore the board to examine its goals and pursue the goal of drawing FoxRidge together. Lee has every FoxTales from his 22 years in the community.

Park improvement: OK to match $15,000 with GID funds, (no input from Bob Bardwell). South Suburban Meeting 2/14 to present park plans at Goodsen Rec Center.

NEW BUSINESS New Attorney for FIA: Anita proposes we hire Laura Sanchez of Ortman and Hindman (specialize in HO groups)

Building Community: Anita is working on Neighborhood reps (perhaps 7-10 reps) to deliver newsletter, solicit neighborhood opinion and stimulate social and community activities. Welcoming committee: Marianne Roy

Web Site is underutilized. Anita will contact our webmaster, Andy Gallasi.
