Who is this animal nut you say? I'm Kathleen, and have been an animal addict for as long as I recall. I grew up showing Miniature Poodles with my mom, and the dog bug bit hard! I've enjoyed some success showing my Smooths in the last 15 years, with severak champions to my credit with very light showing. My co-breeder, Kathryn Renegar, DVM. of Gryphon Smooths, has been doing wonderful things with her dogs, started from my foundation bitch as well. I hope to be out in the show ring in 2004 more. Look for us.
I also have a new pride an joy, a black Standard Poodle bitch, Dalcrista's Celestial who will also be hitting the show ring in 2004.
Chalandar Nubian Dairy goats was established in 1996. My mother, Corinne Cox, showed Pure french Alpines and had a wonderful herd, Sugar Ridge. I was enjoying helping her so much, that I had to have goats of my own.. and years before had fallen in love with the nubians.. so.. Chalandar Nubians was born. Please enjoy our photo album and upcoming babies page. All babies are raised on CAE prevention. We are striving for big, correct nubians, with an emphasis on show as well as production. I still have 2 arabian horses, Egyptian Related, and am no longer actively breeding. Nadeia is sold.
Lastly, but certainly not least, I have branched out into a new/old hobby for me, breeding Betta Splendens. Years ago, I tried this, with no-one to turn to, no internet resources, and no mentor. I gave up. Now with the advent of internet, I've been able to get nice fish, and find all sorts of support sites. I hope eventually, that this will be one as well. I'm currently working with Half Moons in Blues, Multi and Reds, with an emphasis on Butterfly marking, and CT in same with some opaque and pastel for fun. Look at my gallery for the parent fish!
