Life
Despite
thank you, james,
for the title.
love(you)always.
She had a way of accidentally making people
worry about her. A chime of laughter at
death cheated (again) or showing off the shadows of scars that could have been
caused cries of delayed concern to arise around her. She didn’t do it for the attention, but as a simple celebration
of the proof of victory over death in her life. So as the noises were made over the near-darkness, she simply
fell silent in the light.
But it didn’t stop her from dancing on the graves
of her fears and failures, nor from laughing at the rage of nations.
She was alive.
