| It is important to keep in mind that even if you are looking for a pet you do want a "show dog"! A good breeder researches pedigrees well in advance when considering breeding his bitch and carefully selects a dog with the right "stuff". Since we are seeking a good dog for the show ring at birth an entire litter can be considered show-quality. After weeks of evaluation and consideration pups that show promise are kept and those that have minor faults are offered as "pets". This is good to know because your pet puppy should be in excellent health and have a good temperment for living as a companion for your family. |
