Josh appears to be the most powerful slayer encountered to date, and the
actual limits of his physical strength remain unknown at this time.
His speed is also phenomenal, testing has clocked him running at speeds
in excess of 145 mph in a full sprint. He tired quickly at this level,
but his normal running speed still hovers around 45 mph. Examiners are
still unsure as to an explanation for this jump in speed, but General Everton
believes that Josh may be intentionally holding back during the testing
for some reason.
In battles Josh has exhibited impressive resourcefulness using various nearby objects, such as dead trees or even boulders, to his advantage. He fights with a quick wit and, at times, an even quicker temper. His mental stability seems to vary from sane to near insanity at times. The one thing that holds Josh together, he says, is his love for Lance. This fact is readily apparent, and no matter how angry Josh gets, Lance always seems to be by his side and often able to calm him. Some observers have expressed concerns that Josh may become a great risk to public safety should something anger him sufficiently. He has already exhibited signs of his mood being able to affect his environment, unexplained winds occurring when he's upset for example.
