Battle for the Dream Masters

Chapter 44

Last Time . . .

“Pathetic human . . . Why fight a losing battle? We will win and you will die!”

“I may die, but you will never win!” Joey said as his energy reserves kicked in and he balanced himself on his captures, and kicked the leader in his chin, sending him flying back. He morphed his hands into spikes and got both vampires through the neck, dusting them as he advanced forward. “Never underestimate us, we will always get you in the end!” Joey said stepping on the vampire’s chest.

The vampire down, but not out, grabbed Joey’s ankle and twisted him off, making him fall to the floor once again.

“I could say the same about us!” The vampire said laughing.

Joey flipped back up to his feet and they ran at each other, fists-a-blazing; they both connected with each other’s faces. Joey went down to kick sweep him, but the vampire jumped up and kicked Joey in the head. Joey fell back but pushed himself up with his hands to spring kick the vampire, sending him crashing into a tree. The vampire charged at Joey, who simply moved to the side and elbowed the vamp in the spine, sending him to the floor, Joey then quickly staked him while he had the chance.

“First lesson, never fight in anger, you’ll always lose!” Joey said rubbing his cheek as his surroundings faded back to the garden where he started.

This Time . . .

"Into the woods we go!" Sonia said as they walked into the mouth of trees.

"Whoa!" Chris said as the sky immediately turned from day to night once they set foot inside.

"It may look creepy at first but it's beautiful once you really look at it."

Taking a look at his surroundings as they walked, he saw an owl fly above him and land on a branch.

"Why's he starin at me?" he asked.

"Because he watches over these woods."

"Oh . . ."

"It's just a bit further, this next clearing up ahead."

As they reached the clearing, there were two logs placed around a campfire.

"Is someone else here?" Chris asked, stopping while Sonia proceeded to one of the logs.

"No, just us and the trees."

"Then . . ."

"Cause we've been expected."

"Oh . . ." He said joining her in front of the fire.

"The process is simple, clear your mind and think of only where your journey will take you."

"Ok . . ." He said taking a deep breath and doing what he was told.

As the image of Beryl's graduation came into his mind, the limbs of the trees that surrounded the clearing extended and their branches touched, coming together above the fire. As he opened his eyes, all he saw was the fire in front of him. He saw some leaves from the branches above slowly fall into the flame. Each leave sparked into a mystical green flame and emitted a green smoke that danced in the flame. It began to slowly move towards Chris, a few leaves traveling within the smoke. It swirled around him, and entranced him, causing him to stand and follow the smoke to the flame. He stopped right in front of the fire and looked at a ring of leaves spinning around in the heart of the flame. As the ring spun faster, a green light formed inside its boundary. Chris stared at the band of light and his eyes flashed green just as his body turned into green smoke and flew into the ring. He felt suspended in air as the green smoke surrounded him. He was in a whirlwind of green smoke and leaves, and saw a crowd of people below him. He floated to the ground as green smoke and landed behind a tree blocked by bushes. The smoke touched the floor swirled around rapidly and rose to reveal Chris' body.

"Whoa! What a ride!" he said from behind the tree.

He parted the bushes and looked at the crowd in front of him. Directly in his path of site stood Gabriel, Beryl's father, along with the rest of his family. He looked on and saw Gabriel turn to the bushes; panicking he turned invisible and watched as Gabriel nodded in his direction. Their moment was interrupted by an 18yr old Beryl running out to greet his family, dressed in a blue gown holding a cap in his hand. Along side him were three of his friends, two girls and a guy all dressed the same.

"Hey my little high school graduate!" Alicia, Beryl's mother said as they all hugged him.

"That's me! But I’m not little!" Beryl said with a huge grin on his face.

“Shut up! You will always be my little baby!”

"We're so proud of you!" Gabriel said kissing him on the forehead.

"There's a big party at Orchard Beach tonight, can I go?"

"At Orchard?"

"Yeah, some rich kid that nobody likes but is popular only cause of his money was able to get his dad to convince the parks department to let him rent out sections 1-3 after the beach closes."

"What time?"

"It starts at 9, but me, Giz, Miranda and Kai are gonna go out around 7 to Bay Plaza real quick so we can get some bathing suits."

"It's okay with me if it's okay with your mother!"

"Mom?"

"What time are you gonna come home? I don't want you staying out all night!"

"Two?"

"One!"

"One-thirty!"

"Twelve!"

"One it is!"

"Is Giz driving you?"

"Yeah, he's gonna drop Kai off first, then Myranda, then we come home."

"Okay."

"Thank you!!!" He said hugging her.

"Now come on, your uncle it waiting with the car!"

"Wanna come with tonight Stas?"

"Can't B, I have to work tonight and tomorrow morning!" Anastacia said as they walked to the car.

"You suck!"

"I love you too!"

"Wow . . . I've never seen him so happy!" Chris said to himself as he watched the family walk away. "I can relate though . . ."

"So where are we going to eat again?" Beryl asked as they pulled away from the auditorium.

"City Island!" they all said together.

"Okay! You don't have to bite my head off!"

"That IS only the third time you've asked!" Junior chided.

"Shut up!"

"Ooh . . . Good comeback!"

"DON'T YOU TWO START!" Alicia scolded.

"Sorry . . ." They both replied.

"What time are you going out Beryl?" Gabriel asked.

"Seven."

"I'll give you money when we get home."

"Sounds good to me! The First National Bank of Beryl E Rincón highly appreciates your contribution!" He said as they all laughed.

As Chris sat in the empty back row of the van that had been rented to carry the family of six to the occasion, he thought to himself,

"Wow . . . I never knew he was this funny."

"OH DAD, TURN THE RADIO UP!!" Beryl screamed as 'Tearin up my heart' came on.

"Oh no . . ." Junior sighed.

"Shut up, it's MY day!"

As Beryl started singing, Chris laughed to himself, causing Beryl to look back.

"SHIT!" Chris screamed in his head and teleported to the realm between realms, known as the In-between.

"What's the matter sweetie?" Alicia said diverting Beryl's attention.

"Huh?! Oh . . . Nothing, I just thought I heard something."

"Hearing voices again?" Junior chided again.

"Shut up!" Beryl said lifting the shoulder strap of his brother's seatbelt with his mind and snapping it back against Junior's chest.

"OW! MOM!"

"Beryl, stop using your telekinesis on your brother!" Alicia scolded.

"Big baby!" Beryl muttered.

"That was close!" Chris said as he looked through the window into their realm. "I think I'll just stay here until nightfall."

As the family made their way to the restaurant, Chris watched on, feeling convinced that he hadn't done any damage. He just had to make sure that he was more careful. As he watched them get to their table, he saw Alicia and Anastacia get up to go to the ladies room.

"Mr. Kirkpatrick . . ." A female voice said from behind him.

"Huh?!" Chris said turning in shock.

"I asked Anastacia to bring me here so I could give you something to help you protect my son." Alicia said with a brown suede pouch in her hand.

"You knew I was here . . ." Chris thought out loud.

"Yes, as do all of the Chosen Teams that are surrounding your lifetimes."

"We don't have much time; there's an abandoned tomb in the cemetery by our house, no vampire knows about it because it is protected by a spell." Anastacia said opening another window showing the tomb. "You can stay there till nightfall and not be noticed."

"Yeah . . . Sorry about that!" Chris apologized.

"Not to worry . . . Here, take this pouch,” Alicia said handing him the package, “ inside you'll find a vile with a potion and another with a powder. When you get to the tomb, there's an empty basin on top of a pedestal, pour the entire potion into the bowl, then face north and pour the entire powder in the potion counter-clockwise starting at the North. There are directional markings on the boarder just below the ceiling. Once you have completed this, mist will rise from the basin, as this occurs, read the incantation that is written on the scroll inside. This will project an image through the mist in which you will be able to watch Beryl until sundown."

"We gotta go!" Anastacia said.

"Do you have any questions?"

"No."

"One of us will contact you later." Anastacia said as Alicia placed the pouch in Chris' hand and stepped back and grabbed Anastacia's hand.

"Be safe, and may the Fates be with you!" Alicia said as they teleported back to the physical realm.

"Cool!" Chris said as he arrived at the tomb. "Must be a stake out place!" He said, noticing the bed, mini fridge, TV and playstation. He looked around the boarder just below the ceiling, and sure enough, on the walls laid the directional markings for North, East, South, and West. He walked over to the basin and took everything out of the pouch. "Ok, we got one vile with potion, one vile with powder, one tiny rolled up piece of paper that looks like a joint that I take is the scroll. Ok! Got everything!" He did as he was instructed and stood back as the mist rose out of basin and hovered in place.

Sure enough, he saw Beryl through the smoke, but in a position that he would've rather not seen. "Ok, really didn't have to see him on the can!" He closed his eyes for a second and continued to watch after Beryl got out of the stall. He noticed a guy using the urinal that set off his warning system. "Shit!" Chris said as he quickly teleported to the bathroom and remained invisible.

He grabbed the vamp from behind as it began to creep towards Beryl who was washing his hands. He put him in a chokehold and quickly snapped his neck, and while Beryl was splashing water in his face, Chris opened the bathroom door just as Beryl lifted his face and looked in the mirror.

"Someone was in a hurry!" Beryl said as Chris teleported back to the tomb.

The day progressed without another attack. Once the family got home, Beryl went up to his room, giving Gabriel and Anastacia a chance to go to Chris.

“I’m gonna go take the van back to the dealer, and drive Ana to work!” Gabriel said as he walked out of his room, making sure his wife and his son both heard him.

“Ok, pick up a milk when you get back!” Alicia said giving him a quick kiss as he walked down the steps and she walked into Beryl’s room.

“Later B!” Anastacia said as she walked down the hall and after Gabriel.

“BYE!” Beryl yelled from his desk, as his mother entered his room.

“Here’s the money from your father!” Alicia said placing it in front of him.

“Thank you!” He said turning from his desk and taking it.

“I wanna talk to you!” She said sitting on the end of his bed.

Wassup?” He said signing offline and turning towards his mom.

“I want you to know that I’m so proud of you.”

“I know . . .”

”No . . . You don’t.”

“Huh?”

“You’ve grown into a very handsome, responsible and caring young man. I know it’s been hard for you to work through all your classes to get straight A’s, building your own foundation for your spirituality, and trying to cope with your ESP. I want you to know how much your father and I love you, and tell you that you are one of the strongest people on this planet!” She said giggling.

“I try . . . sometimes!” He said blushing.

“I know you’re still not sure whether or not you want to go to college, but just know, that no matter what you decide, your father and I will always support you. We know your music is important to you, and we also know that you will make whatever decision is best for you.”

“Thank you . . .” He said smiling, and standing to give her a hug. “I love you.”

”I love you too!” She said smiling. “Now close your eyes! I have something for you!”

“Mom!”

”What? You expect me not to reward my baby after four years of hard work?” She said pulling out a chain from her pocket.

“Whoa!” He said opening his eyes, looking in the mirror, after she placed the silver chain and pendant around his neck. “A pentacle!”

“I know you’d said you wanted that one . . . SO!”

“Thank you!” He said turning to her and hugging her again.

“Now go to Giz’s house, Liz has some cake for you guys!”

“Ok!”

"Mr. Kirkpatrick," Gabriel said as the two teleported to the tomb. "good to meet you!"

"Same here!" Chris replied, not really sure what to say.

"I know this must be awkward for you, but I didn't come here to ask about the future. I just need you to promise me that you will protect my son from danger and from finding out the truth before he is fated to."

"You have my word! It's what I was sent here to do and I don't plan on failing."

“Thank you! Now the second and probably most important reason I’m here, is to give you this . . .” He said revealing a suede covered object.

“What’s this?”

“It’s from your friend . . . Justin.”

“How’d you . . .” He said revealing the rune engraved stake.

“Some years ago, I met with him while protecting your other friend . . .”

“Joey?”

“Yes . . .”

“So why’d he want me to have this?”

“He said that he had a feeling you might need it. We’ve discerned the runes as a some sort of protection spell.”

“Thanks . . .”

"No . . . Thank you! We must go now, we have much to prepare for. Farewell and may the Fates be with you!"

As they left, Chris couldn't help but wonder if he meant prepare for their death, or the battle with Lord Samuel.

“Hey!” Beryl said as he opened the front door to see his father and friend coming back up the steps. “I thought you left!”

“I forgot my wallet!” Gabriel said.

“Oh. Well, I’m goin next door to Giz’s, his mom has some cake for us.”

”Ok, I’ll see you when I get back then!”

“Later Stas!”

“Wait, come here!” She said pulling him into a hug. ”Congratulations! I’m proud of you!” She said kissing him on the cheek. “I love you!”

”Thanks! I love you too!” He said returning the embrace.

“Later!”

“Peace!”

As Chris sat tight waiting for Beryl to leave with his friends, he occupied his time by playing some video games, bringing memories back to him of the good old days. He tried not to think about it, because he didn’t want to risk the connection between any of his brother’s or himself, the same reason he didn’t pay too much attention to the stake. He cleared his mind and concentrated on the game. Before he knew it, it was seven, and he saw that Beryl was heading out the door to meet his friends. There was still about an hour and a half before the sun finished setting. By the time they were done at the mall and on the way to the party, it was finally dark.

"Show time!" Chris said as they arrived at the beach and parked the car.

He was happy to walk amongst the partying graduates and hear the very end of “I want you back”, he tried not to pay too much attention to it for fear of risking that same connection he was worried about hours earlier.

“Damn!” Beryl said as they got to the boardwalk where the DJ was set up. “Just missed my song!”

”Oh calm down!” Giz said. “We only heard it twice on the radio and once at the mall in the last two hours!”

“Shut up Giz!” Kai said.

“Thank you Kai!” Beryl said as he put his arm out for her to grab and they walked onto the sand.

“Oh boy, I can already see people making out on the rocks over there!” Myranda said as they walked over to the crowd.

“This should be interesting!” Chris said to himself as he followed close behind.

“Come here!” Kai, the closest thing Beryl had to a girlfriend, said pulling him in front of her.

“WHAT?!” He said stumbling in front of her.

“When’d you get this?” She said noticing the pentacle.

“Today! My mom gave it to me.”

“Isn’t that the same one you wanted?”

“Yep!”

”That’s awesome!”

“I know!”

“Look!” She said turning him once again. “NO! DON’T STARE!”

”I wasn’t! What am I looking at?!”

“It’s hot dancer guy!”

“Where?!”

”Coming towards us right now!”

“Maybe we’ll find out whether he’s gay or straight finally!”

“We’re goin over to the food!” Giz shouted from down the sand.

“Okay!” Beryl said as he turned and bumped into the hot dancer guy.

“Oh . . . Sorry!” the dancer guy said looking at the two.

S’ok! Twas my fault!”

“Nah, it was me, my contacts have dirt in em, I was just on my way to clean em out!”

“Oh, you gonna be ok?”

”Yeah, but this may sound weird, but could you help me over to the restroom? It’s kind of worse, it being dark and all!”

“Um . . . Okay? You gonna be ok Kai?” He said turning to his friend with a nervous stare.

“Yeah! Fine!” She said biting her lip to hide her excitement.

“Oh great! Now I have to follow them while they prolly go have sex, just to make sure they don’t die!” Chris said to himself, laughing slightly. “It’s bad enough I walked . . . No . . . Can’t think of that!”

“I see Julio over there anyway! He was givin me the only grill back at prom when we were there dancing together!” She whispered.

“Go for yours, and I’ll go for mine, we’ll rendezvous at the buffet in an hour!”

Koo!”

“Ok, well, the bathrooms here are kinda nasty!” Beryl said as he escorted the dancer guy towards the boardwalk.

“No, they cleaned em up! I was in there earlier. They even have a bathroom attendant! Well, at least the one I went to did. I think the one closer to here is different. But, we’ll see . . . At least you will!”

“Yeah!” Beryl laughed. “Ok, I know who you are, but I don’t know your name! Sounds a lil dorky, but hey, at least I’m honest!”

“It’s okay Beryl, it’s not like we’ve ever hung out or anything.”

“True . . . But you know my name, so . . .”

”Only cause I looked it up in the yearbook.”

“Well, I’d say the same for you, but I didn’t see your pic in it!”

“That’s cause I’m still a junior! I’m only here cause I was invited.”

”Yeah, but you were in the talent show, weren’t you? I saw your pic in there, but they didn’t have the names.”

”Well, it’s Jade.”

“Cool . . . I’ve only ever heard girls with that name!”

“Yeah, well my mom was Buddhist, and she loved the stone.”

“Is that why you have that bracelet?”

“Yeah . . . she gave it to me for protection.”

“Why past tense?”

“What do you mean?”

“You said she was a Buddhist . . .”

”Oh . . . She died last year.”

”Oh . . . I’m so sorry to hear that!” He said stopping.

“It’s fine . . . She was sick, so I’ve come to terms with it, she needed rest.”

“I feel you. That’s like my grandmother, she died about two years ago from Breast Cancer.”

“That’s what my mom had. Breast Cancer.

After an uneasy silence, they continued to walk to the bathroom, and Beryl started talking again.

“So were you raised Buddhist?”

“Yeah, it’s helped me cope with a lot of things. Especially now that I’m living on my own.”

”You are?”

”Yeah, since I’m 18, I didn’t have to go live with my aunt, when she moved to Cali. My mom left the house to me after she died, and it’s all paid off, and with my inheritance, I can afford to pay bills and shit like that. Oh, and yeah, I’m 18, I got left back when she was sick cause I missed so much school.”

“That’s gotta be rough!”

“It has its benefits and downfalls. It allows me the quiet I need to focus on school and just strengthen my mind, spirit and body.”

“I wish I had the quiet to do that! My house is always noisy! Cept for when my rents go to sleep and all . . . but I kind of wish I was able to live on my own.”

“Oh my friggin goodness!” Chris screamed in his head. “This is SO boring! It’s even worse cause it’s two guys! Whatever, it’s kind of cool to see what Beryl was like before everything.”

They continued to walk and talk and finally reached the bathroom. When they got there, to there surprise, it was indeed cleaned, but the bathroom attendant was no where to be found.

“I guess they don’t have one here then!” Beryl said as they walked in.

“No, look, there’s a tip jar!”

“Maybe he went to smoke a cigarette!”

“Maybe!”

“Well, one thing’s for damn sure, they don’t have a mirror!”

“Shit!”

“Come on, let me eat him! Just one bite!” Chris heard someone faintly whisper behind the bushes in back of the bathroom.

“No! You heard what the boss said! The only one we can mess with is the kid!” His accomplice scolded.

”I still don’t see why!”

Somethin bout messin up the timeline or somethin, but either way! NO FOOD UNLESS IT’S THE KID! Now shut up and get in there!”

“But bathroom attendants don’t usually get tips if they’re not in there when the customers arrive!” Chris said appearing in front of them.

“Oh shit!”

“Yeah, pretty much!” He said grabbing the hungry one by the neck, as his wiser friend took off. “Not much of a team player is he? Oh well!” He said as he crushed his neck in his hand and teleported after the other as dust fell to the floor.

“Well, do you have your glasses with you?”

”Yeah, but they’re in my car!”

”Well, take the contacts out, and I’ll walk you to your car to get em!”

“You sure you don’t mind? I mean, I don’t want you to leave your girlfriend all alone with all these asshole guys!”

“Nah, it’s ok! Well, firstly, she’s not my girlfriend, and secondly, she can handle her own!”

“But didn’t you two go to the prom together?”

”Yeah, but we’re just friends.”

”Oh . . .”

”I’ll tell you about it on the walk to the car. You wash your eyes out while I take a piss!”

“Sounds good to me!”

“And where do you think you’re running to?” Chris said appearing right in front of the other vamp, causing him to bump into him and fall on the floor.

“Aw fuck!” He said as he crawled backwards, turned over and got up to run in the other direction, only to bump into Chris again.

“Oh come on, at least put up a fight! I thought you were all supposed to be the best Wilkes had! How are you supposed to go up against Beryl if you don’t even have big enough fangs to face me!

“Screw you man!”

“Ok, enough talking!” Chris said quickly staking him, then teleporting back to the bathroom to find no one in there. ”SHIT! I lost him!” He said running out the door. “FUCK! I can’t lock on to him, cause he’ll detect it with his ESP!” He searched around, looking back at the beach, finding no sign of them. He then saw two faint shadows in the distance, walking towards the parking lot, he also saw three vampires hiding behind them, emerging from their holes to follow behind. “Well, at least I’m not too late!” He said teleporting behind one of them. He quickly slit the throat of the vampire, then teleported in the air to dropkick the second one. He landed on his chest and staked him quickly, then got up, ran through the air, using his newfound ability, and flipped over the third and final vamp, sweeping him. He caught him in a headlock as he fell, and snapped his neck, getting dust on his clothes. “Dirty bastard!” He said brushing himself off.

“So why aren’t you and Kai together?” Jade asked.

“Well, I’m not gonna lie, I did have feelings for her, but we’ve just kind of known each other so long that . . . since nothing was ever done, they never surfaced. So we’re just really close friends!”

”Ah . . . I see!”

”Why? Are you interested?”

“Huh?” He said stopping nervously.

“In Kai?”

”Oh . . . In Kai? No!”

“Why not? She’s a hottie!”

“Oh yeah, definitely, but . . . I just kind of got my eye on someone else!”

”Oh . . .” Beryl said suspiciously.

“Well, here’s my van!”

“Whoa! That’s a big van! You could live in here!”

“I do . . . sometimes!”

”Cool! Could I see the inside?”

“Um . . . I dunno, it’s kind of messy!”

“Oh . . .”

”Hold on . . . Stay right here!” Jade said, getting in the side door and fumbling around.

“Hiding the dead bodies?”

“Huh? Oh . . . No stupid!” He said laughing. “Ok, come on in!”

“You sure?”

“Yeah!” He said sticking his head out the door, now with his glasses on.

“Ok!”

”Where are they?” Chris said using his superior night vision to look for his future ally. “That van!”

“Whoa! Cool!” Beryl said as Jade helped him in.

“Welcome to my home away from home!”

“Cool! Got a mini fridge fold out bed chairs and everything!”

”Want something to drink?”

”What do you have?”

“Iced tea and juice. Not a big fan of soda or alcohol!”

“Iced tea is fine! Yeah, I don’t drink much either.”

”Sit down! Relax!”

“This is definitely cool!”

“Yeah, I’m planning a road trip this summer. I’m gonna drive out to Arizona to go on a spirit quest in the dessert.”

“Awesome! I’ve always wanted to do that!”

“What? Go to the dessert?” He said handing him a cup.

“Yeah, and the spirit quest!”

“Really?”

“Yeah!” He said reaching for the cup, his medallion falling out of his shirt.

“Oh . . . I understand now!”

“Huh?”

“You’re Wiccan!”

Kinda, sorta, not really, but yeah!”

“Huh?” He said sitting down in the chair next to him.

“I’m a witch, but I don’t consider myself Wiccan.”

“Okay?”

“An Elemental.”

”Huh?”

“That’s what I consider myself.”

”Oh . . . How’d . . .”

”I have ESP . . .  And common sense, the next question is always well, what do you consider yourself?”

“You haven’t been reading my mind then?”

”No! I would never intrude unless asked or necessary.”

“What do you consider necessary?”

”If they person’s unconscious and got knocked out or something!”

”Drastic much?”

“Just an example!”

”So . . . you’re not like other guys then!”

“Never claimed to be!”

”That’s good to know!”

“Why’s that?”

“Cause neither am I?”

“How so?”

”In more ways than one!”

“Those being?”

“Ok, now to sit here and wait till they’re done having sex!” Chris said remaining invisible outside the van, on the look out for other vampires.

“Well, there’s the Buddhist thing . . . I’m way mature for my age . . . I am a healer . . . Um

. . . I’m bisexual . . .” He paused. “You’re still here!”

“And that surprises you because?”

“I dunno . . . I guess I just expected you to run out of here.”

”Oh . . . the healer thing usually freak people out?”

“No . . . usually the bi thing!”

“Well let me tell you my theory on bisexuality!”

“Oh boy . . .”

”No, it’s not what you think! Sorry . . . I read your mind that time! I believe that everyone is potentially bisexual. It just depends on how open-minded they are to it. Love knows no boundaries, so you shouldn’t limit yourself to just one sex when it comes to finding love, cause you never know what form it will take!”

”Oh my god . . .” Jade said shocked.

“What?”

“No . . . I just . . . I didn’t expect that . . . “

”And besides, I didn’t have to read your mind to know that you were hoping to make a move!” Beryl said turning his head and moving in slightly.

“I . . . I . . .” He stammered, being silenced by Beryl’s lips touching his.

“If you want me to stop, all you have to do is say it or think it!”

”Uh uh . . .” He said moaning.

Beryl kissed his way down to his neck, while unbuttoning Jade's shirt and undid the drawstring of Jade's board shorts with his mind.

"There has to be more than that!" Chris thought to himself. "The CIA will be watching him come tomorrow . . . They'd be stupid to try something then . . . But then again, based on those first two . . . But I shouldn't compare them all. So what's their plan? What's that smell?"

Jade sat in his chair, his hand was on the back of Beryl's head as Beryl kissed and licked his neck while playing with Jade's cock in his shorts.

He sighed in pleasure, then quickly turned his head away and sat up.

"What's wrong?" Beryl said backing off.

"I . . . I have to go!"

"Huh?"

"I . . . I just . . . It's not your fault . . . It's just . . . I can't explain it."

"Are you okay?"

"Y . . . Yeah, I just don't want you to think it's something you did!"

"You sure?"

"Yeah . . . Here!" He said grabbing a piece of paper from the floor, and a pen. "Write your number, I'll call you before I leave!"

"Okay . . ."

“I really must go now, again, I’m so sorry for this! It’s really not what you think, and it’s not your fault. Maybe one day I can explain, but for now, you just have to trust me!”

”I understand . . . I think!” Beryl said stepping out of the van.

Chris quickly turned invisible at the sight of Beryl, and teleported up to a light post to gain a higher ground and better view.

“What IS that smell?!”  He said to himself as the van pulled off and Beryl stared in confusion.

TBC . . .
