Children of Celestia2 Weber and Samuel Nixon were as follows:
Was also called Hannah after Samuel's first wife who had died in childbirth.
He was born June 9, 1839 in New York State. His parents were Abram Webber and Mandy Devereaux, both born in New York.
Marshall Weber appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Abram Weber and Amanda (Mandy) Devereaux Busti, Chautauqua, NY.1

He was also known as Marshall Webber.
Marshall Webber married Frances Darrow circa 1860;18
Marshall Webber and Frances Darrow were living on 1 Jun 1860 Freedom, Sauk, WI.20
1860 Census Notes:
Marshall Webber is 22 years old, is married to Frances Darrow and has one child, Delphina. He is listed as a farmer but apparently does not own land. The next family listed on the census is S. Nickson (real name, "NIXON", census is in error) and his wife Celestia. Celestia was Marshall's sister, and S. Nixon, his brother-in-law is a fairly large farmer (His real estate holdings were listed at $6000. This was larger than most other farmers in that particular area). I am assuming that Marshall and Frances got married and Marshall went to work for S. Nixon or continued to work for him.
Memo by the researcher: (Sometime after 1860, Marshall and his family moved to Jackson County and lived in or near Black River Falls. Adeline was born in 1864 and as it states in her obituary, "near the east fork of the Black River". It further states that "three years later they moved to Black River Falls." Minnie, the youngest child, was born in 1865 and at that time or shortly after Frances Darrow/Webber died. I have been unable to find any records of her death or where she was buried.)
Marshall Webber and Frances Darrow were living on 1 Jun 1865 Albion, Jackson, WI; census shows that the members of the family by gender are: 2 males and 4 females. The males would be Marshall, and his son Charles. The females would be Frances, Marshall's wife, and the three daughters, Della, Adeline and Minnie.14

In the 1870 census, Charles Marshall Webber, the second child, is living with his grandparents, Joseph and Pamela Darrow, in Juneau County. At least he was there during the time of the census.
Either at this time or shortly after Marshall and the remainder of his family are in Chicago. My mother told me that it was at this time that Marshall walked into a tavern in Chicago and announced that he had a young baby girl that he could not take care of and wondered if any one wanted her. There was a Sally (sp) family present who said they would take her. Marshall did get their name and address and gave it to his oldest daughter, Della. Della remained contact with the Sally family through the years and always knew where Minnie was living. (See notes under Minnie Webber.)

Also Kathy stated: "According to family stories Marshall Webber had a very bad temper".
Marshall Webber's death certificate is located in Volume 25, Page 417 in the Chippewa County Courthouse. The following information is given:
Marshall Webber, residence Rutledge Home for the aged, Chippewa Falls, WI, died May 4, 1932 of the flu and double bronchial pneumonia. Contributory secondary cause was his age. He was 92 years, 10 months and 25 days old.
He had never served in the military service.
At time of death he was a widower and a retired woodsman.
Obituary for Marshall Webber. The following Obituary was found by Kathy Berlin in the Chippewa Falls, WI newspaper. She stated that it was easy to find because it was printed on the front page of the paper. It contained a picture and headline, which read,
"PIONEER DIES AT RUTLEDGE HOME."
Marshall Webber, 93, Passes Away Wednesday Evening After Short Illness.
Marshall Webber, 93, and pioneer resident of Chippewa Falls, passed away at the Rutledge home in this city at 8.45 o'clock last evening. He had been ill but a short time. He had a wonderful constitution and his death is attributed to the general wearing out of life's machinery.
Born in the state of New York June 9, 1839, Mr. Webber came to Chippewa Falls in 1874 and for several years was connected with the larger lumber interests, principally with the late Edward Rutledge. His activities in that line ended with the waning of the industry. He entered the Rutledge home in October, 1927.
Mr Webber had a remarkable memory and recalled dates and events with precision. On June 9, last year, Rev. Carl Bruhn, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, learned that Mr. Webber and the late Warren W. Potter had been intimate friends in their early life and brought them together at the Rutledge home. It was the first meeting of the two aged gentlemen in forty years and they recalled many events of the lumbering days.
Mr. Webber was married in the state of New York and his wife preceded him in death in Chippewa Falls about 50 years ago. Surviving relatives are two daughters and one son, Mrs Della Melville, Chippewa Falls, Mrs J. Phorson, Chicago, and Charles Webber of Lafayette. Several grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rutledge Home Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev Carl Bruhn officiating. Interment will be in Prairie View cemetery.
Children of Marshall2 Weber and Frances Darrow were as follows:
Minnie Webber was living on 1 Jun 1865 Albion, Jackson, WI.25 She was a witness to the fact that Marshall Weber and Frances Darrow were living on 1 Jun 1865 Albion, Jackson, WI; census shows that the members of the family by gender are: 2 males and 4 females. The males would be Marshall, and his son Charles. The females would be Frances, Marshall's wife, and the three daughters, Della, Adeline and Minnie.14
Minnie Webber was living in 1943 Cook, Chicago, IL; Lived on California Ave on the Northwest side.26
Minnie Webber died 1947 Chicago, IL Date is approx.24
Memo by researcher.
(Minnie was my great aunt. I can remember mother talking about her She told me
that after Minnie's mother, Frances (Darrow) Webber died in Black River Falls,
WI (1867), the family spent some time in Chicago. During that time her father,
Marshall Webber, walked into a tavern in Chicago and said he had a baby girl
that he couldn't take care of and if anyone there wanted to adopt her. The
Salley(sp) family was there and could not have children so they took her. They
gave their name to my great-grandfather Marshall Webber and he told his oldest
daughter, Della Webber, where Minnie was. Della kept in touch with the Salley's
over the years so that she could maintain contact with Minnie. Minnie worked in
a restaurant in Chicago for thirty years. She married James Thorson who was a
friend of Al Capone's. He worked in a brewery.
I visited Minnie where she lived on California Ave in Chicago in 1943. She
showed me how she let a half-gallon bucket down from her apartment window to the
tavern down below her apartment. Each day they would fill her bucket with beer
and she would draw it back up. At that time she could hardly walk. I enjoyed
this visit very much and I wish I could remember all the stories she told me. I
did not know about the story my mother told me at that time so I could not ask
Aunt Minnie about that part of her life. Aunt Minnie died about 1947.)
