| Here is the thing that makes me most angry! See all these cool races, you've got a bug race, deamons, angels, orcs, goblins, vampires, dryads, giants (not those HALF-giants) and even an awsome underwater race! How cool is that. With a line up like that for playable races who could go wrong. For the first year or so Artifact stated that race wars excisted and that players could particapte in PvP against each other, yet now its everyone against the undead (I like it but the fact that you cant even play as the undead kinda hurts why cant we have racial pvp!) With this set of races (half of which never made it to the finnal) the game seemed to have near unlimited play abilites. Also a charecter would origonaly level up through hunting or exp. but at the same time age would also determin the strength of the player, now only dragons have that which I find is a bit of a let down. In the end Horizons was aiming very high and then out of of the blue half the stuff they were going to use to create a unique game just didnt make it up on the roster for release. Now don't think that I'm getting upset or anything. As a game art and disign student myself I know that if a publisher is pushing you to release a game (Atari) then in the end you have to cut some stuff out to get it on the shelf. Horizons had been pushed back time after time and well they ended up releaseing what thay had because they had to. Due to the fact that it is a masive multiplayer game it alows for constant updates and expantions so I would'nt say that this stuff was trashed, but rather put to the side due to lack of funding. Now that they have our money coming in on a monthly basis they better darn well make the game as great as they had origonaly hoped for, you here that guys were watching you and we know where you WORK to!
