| ' Just Horsin' Around FarmCollies', 'Ellie', born May 6, 2000 |
| Ellie is a pretty little 2 year old working farmcollie on the Swiatek Farm in MI. Ellie has many jobs to do at ' Just Horsin' Around Farm'. Her most favorite job is to be a companion to, and supervise the care of, the many babies; toddlers; and children at the 'Just Horsin' Around DayCare' on the farm. Ellie greets them all at the door in the morning and plays with them all day, often cleaning up a morsel or two of food dropped by a child. Besides being companion to children, Ellie is 'guardian extraordinaire'; nothing that happens inside or outside at the farm escapes Ellie's notice. She can often be found gazing out the windows, monitoring the outside 'critters'. Some of the farm animals that she loves to watch over are the horses at the farm. Though they don't need constant monitoring, Ellie likes to stand at the fence watching them. It is obvious that she would like to herd them, for she can often be found gently, and quietly, moving them along the fenceline. The horses seem to like Ellie too and probably find some confidence that 'all is well' by Ellie's presence. Ellie had a litter in May 2002 and is now proud Mamma of 7 pups, one daughter, Princess, lives on the farm with her; another daughter, Llewella Felecia lives nearby at FoxCreek Farm.
