| Zoness Planet size: Small Atmosphere: Apparently breathable, but toxic with prolonged exposure. Climate: Extremely humid, comparable to a planet wide rain forest. Moons: Two, with one supporting an active base. Space station/platforms: None, all dismantled and dropped to the surface for post war recovery. Next to nothing was known about Zoness when the first colonists launched their craft, and Zoness still manages to surprise the scientific community again and again, it is quite possible that Zoness was part of some large scale terraforming project long before Corneria was even able to look to the stars, let alone travel them. It is speculated that what ever race was unable to determine the fate of Corneria, so rather then proceeding to plant intelligent life on Zoness they canceled there project and left nothing but primitive life forms in the fast oceans to evolve as they please. More currently, Zoness was chosen to be the first settled planet because of it�s relative land mass, and more important over abundance of flowing water, what was absolutely vital for the ships at the time. Zoness is an industrial waste, what ever resources the colonists could eak out of it�s thick rocky crust or dangerous oceans with the crude extraction methods were quickly used up, so they had to implement massive industrial facilities to both process, re process and fabricate new resources, while eventually breeding new and previously un heard of technologies, Zoness seems to have been damaged quite badly, using this to his advantage Andross overwhelmed Zoness rather quickly and set it on full production which set back their eco repairs quite extensively. |
