THE STORY SO FAR...

Area 4 was formed last January after the boys met up at an open audition. After a slight change in the original line up the band now consists of Roly Smithers, John Collins, Ian Colgan and Mark Cleary.

Area 4 performed at the 4 Beat on The Streets during the summer of '99 and played to over 100,000 people. They also appeared on stage alongside Westlife at the concert in aid of the victims of the Turkish Earthquake in September '99 and have just finished a 7 week run of the Panto in the Olypmia with Twink and Dustin.

Area 4's single "It's Your Song" went straight into the national charts at number 31 and into the Dublin charts at 22.

Their T.V appearances include interviews and perfomances on Den 2, Open House and Fish as well as slots on BBC and TV3 news.
