Indestructible Love

I am sitting and waiting with so much to say...
A million love-thoughts blooming each day...
And though I'm your girl, pretty and fair....
Walking the paths of hope and despair
I wander alone and wait for you endlessly...
With the wind drifting at my side continuously
Your love puts clouds beneath my feet,
And I'm lifted higher than high for you make me complete
The world and its shadows vanish from your light,
As you hold me in gentle care, all through the night,
My heart has run to you without delay,
How I wish that I were there with you this very day!
Between our hearts is a love so rare,
No one can take that, nor would they dare!
We are lovers; warm, compassionate and true,
You have turned me into shades of gold; green, red and blue,
And no handsome, rich man can greater woo,
For to me the priceless things, are the things that you do,
The greatest thing being the love for me, from you,
Do not fear that though you aren't here,
That our love will fade, turn pale or be jeer,
For you are the only love in my life,
The one to make my spirit leap to be your beloved wife,
Although, at times, I might feel sad; you didn't fail,
cause its nothing your love cannot ultimately avail.
How I long to touch your lips on mine..
For this every night I pray, that God be so kind!
And though prayers dissolve into thin air,
My wanting never goes away, its always waiting there,
You are my angel, my piece of heaven,
No, you are my heaven, my beautiful angel.
Even if death becomes my despise,
Its attempts are futile, for you're my paradise,
Death has no grip on me, for in time you will see
Yes, God has promised a resurrection for both you and for me,
To a life on earth, it has been assured to be,
Eternal life for all, blessings covering the very sea,
Yes, its been promised to both you and me,
By the Great One, the Almighty, at last we'll be free!
