Russia has been with us for a while now. He has shown a great apptitude for eventing and seems to be well on his way to becoming a star. He had a good start on his training and has been in consistant showing since we have had him. He is an easy going guy with a lovable attitude. Uncomplicated enough for an amatuer or young rider but has talent for the top. Now that he has gotten a bit more mature he will be showing much more and we are very excited to see what he can do. Black Russian started showing with the ISEA in 2005. He was only four and showing at the Beginner Novice level. He showed a ton of prospects for the sport. He did fairly well placing between fourth and sixth most of the season. He did qualify for the final were he had an okay dressage test. He made it up in cross country and stadium though, to place 4th overall. He ended up placing 4th for the season in Beginner Novice. Which is pretty good for a four year old. He then moved up to Novice level in mid 2006. He placed 2nds and 3rds in his first four Novice level events doing even better than he did the year before. He placed 5th in the Four Star Eventing Series III show where his lack of dressage training started showing through. He has some talent in dressage and has some real brilliant moments but unfortunatly he is a little underdeveloped still and sometimes has a hard time getting his muscles to do the work. He placed 3rd, 2nd and 7th in his next three events. Fairly well just not quite consistant yet. ...Show Horse...
