Four Star Ranch was originally established in the fall of 2003. It was part of Four Star Stables at that point and started out with just one quarter horse. Lucky Drifter was his name. We first came across Lucky at an adoption agency. His previous owners left him and moved without selling him or bringing him with them. He has already been shown and had great training. We were simply shocked that he was left behind. He was such a gorgeous boy and so talented we decided to bring him home with us. He was shown quite a bit and placing brilliantly in all his classes. We soon decided he would make an excellent herdsire. So we bought a few more quarter horses...

Soon Four Star Quarter Horses was created and we had a large herd of excellent show and breeding stock. We added many many more mares and some more stallions as well to ensure quality breeding and showing horses. We became a regular member of the Allsim Quarter Horse Association and showed all of our horses including many of our youngstock in the shows. At 2007 the World Show we had 111 qualified spots. Most of our horses qualified in multiple classes. We came out with 23 World Champion Titles and 21 Reserve World Champion Titles! Four Star Ranch had a few paints at this time, but decided to expand due to the sucess we had so far. A few more paints were added to our show string.

Luckily the Allsim Quarter Horse Association has become the Allsim Stock Horse Association so our paints can now show along side our quarter horses. Along with that change, Four Star Quarter Horses has become Four Star Ranch. Our breeding operation is proving strong with many of our youngstock becoming world champions. Our Annual Remuda sale will officially start in 2008.
