Demountable Hinge is a gapless Nylon
hinge that allows the modeler to easily
remove the control surfaces from the
model. A 1/32 inch (0.8 mm) piano wire
holds the hinge in place. The hinge may
be installed easily with CA adhesives.
The hinge is sold in packages of 12-6
inch (15.24 cm) segments, which is
sufficient to span 3 feet (0.91 meters)
of hinge surface. Although it is
manufactured in white, the Demountable
Hinge may be dyed or painted to match any
