| A guy and a girl might say that they�re just friends, but when they flirt you begin to wonder. I�m not talking about when you�re in college, but when you�re in high school. Society wants us to think that we have to have a girlfriend or boyfriend to be happy. Well, sorry, but we DON�T! Some teens think that if they don�t, they�re not cool. Just because you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, why should that prove that you�re cool? Why should we care about what other people think of us when God looks at the heart? Another thing, you waste money and time on a boyfriend or girlfriend. You might disagree, but look at it. Guys are always spending money on getting things for their girlfriend. People spend so much time with each other that they miss out on all of the fun stuff they could be doing with their other friends. Why can�t you just be friends? You�re not going to get married, so why waste that time! Even when you put yourselves in that position, you endanger yourself into doing things you wish you wouldn�t. God wants us to save sex for marriage, because that is the way God intended it to be. Don�t think that you won�t go that far if you�re a boyfriend or girlfriend. Satan will try everything he can do to make you sin. I would encourage you to get someone who can be accountable to you and you to them. It will help you grow in your faith and it will help you to stay sexually pure. No matter what you do, put God first before anything else! People can get caught up in their girlfriend or boyfriend and put them before God in what matters must. That shouldn�t be our attitude. God should be the one who reigns on our throne! I�m not a know-it-all. This is just what I believe is right. Ya, you might disagree, but I know that. Not everyone will agree with everything that I believe.
