Beaded Patriotic Angel

This is a cute little angel that you can either use as an ornament or pin.

Materials Needed

1 yard + 6" piece of wire

16- 4mm blue beads

5- 6mm blue beads

21- 6mm red beads

11- 4mm crystal beads

38- 6mm crystal beads

1- 10mm crystal bead

1- 15mm crystal bead

1- star pearler bead

Elastic for hanging or pin back

Directions

Cut a 1-yd piece of wire.

Slip on a 4mm blue bead, nine 6mm red beads and a 4mm blue bead. Slide to the center of the wire.

Slip eight 6mm crystal beads onto one end of the wire and then criss-cross the other end of the wire through these eight crystal.

Slip a 4mm blue and seven 6mm red onto one wire. Slip a 4mm blue onto the other wire and then criss-cross this wire through the seven 6mm red beads.

Slip a 4mm blue and six 6mm crystal onto one wire. Slip a 4mm blue onto the other wire and criss-cross this wire through the six crystal.

Slip a 4mm blue and five 6mm red onto one wire. Slip a 4mm blue onto the other wire and criss-cross through all five 6mm red.

Slip a 4mm blue and four 6mm crystal onto one wire. Slip a 4mm blue onto the other wire and criss-cross this wire through these four crystals.

Slip a 4mm blue and three 6mm blue onto one wire. Slip a 4mm blue onto the other wire and criss-cross through these three blue.

Slip a 4mm blue and two 6mm blue onto one wire. Slip a 4mm blue onto the other wire and criss-cross through these two 6mm blue.

Slip a 4mm blue onto each wire. Criss-cross wires through a 10mm crystal bead.

Slip ten 6mm crystal beads onto one wire and bring back through the 10mm crystal. Repeat on the other wire.

Slip both wires together through a 15mm crystal (head bead).

Separate the wires and slip eleven 4mm crystals onto one wire. Twist together with the other wire to form a loop for the halo. Trim off excess.

To make the arms: Cut a 6" piece of wire and wrap the center of the wire around in between the head and the 10mm crystal bodice bead. Slip five 4mm blue onto each wire and criss-cross the wires through a white star. Twist ends of wire around on each side of the star to secure and trim off excess.

Use a 6" piece of elastic to make a loop for hanging, or glue on pin bake.
