| Early Spring Bass Fishing | |||
| The ice is just about ready to leave our lakes until winter returns. As soon as the ice departs bass fishing can be at its best. To have your best luck at catching monster bass during the early spring try blade baits, like Bass Pro Shops Lazer Blade. Throw this lure around spotty weed growth and you are sure to make some quality memories. Try fishing points and steep drop offs in 10-20 feet of water and always pay close attention to your sonar. On another note, the Grand Rapids Ultimate Fishing Show is coming up on March 16-18. Make sure to come to the show and check out all of the new products the fishing industry has to offer. Dan Posey and John Gipson will be working the show in the Combat Fishing and NBAA booths so make sure to stop by and chat with them while you are there. John will also be giving 3 seminars, Saturday at 12 and 7 and Sunday at 4:30 in the main lobby on the NBAA Trailor. His presentation will be on fishing during the catch and release season, so if you want any tips on how to catch lunker bass during this time of year stop by and join his seminar. |
