Born on 1 March 1983, Jeremy grew up learning to play the piano and guitar. He was also singing in the school choir from a very early age, which introduced him to acappella, first to the choral style and later to the more contemporary styles.
Jeremy loves arranging acappella music and composed his first arrangement at the age of 13. He has since written arrangements for established Singaporean groups such as Nanu, Ngam, Skritch and the Notations.
Recently, two of his arrangements were used as the competition set-pieces for the National A Cappella Championships 2004, organised by the A Cappella Society (Singapore).
Jeremy is a versatile musician and can arrange in many genres of acappella music, including Contemporary English/Chinese Pop/R&B, Hip-Hop/Rap, Vocal Jazz, Doo-wop/Barbershop, Christmas Carols, Gospel Worship Songs as well as medleys of songs. A vocal percussionist himself, he frequently writes percussion parts as well.
Jeremy's acappella style has been largely shaped by the groups that he listens to, namely, Neri Per Caso, Try-Tone, Take 6, The Real Group and The King's Singers.
