9th Jun (Sun): Somehow waking in time for my 10am bus, I bid tchau to the sleepy Maureen and Paul and joined the South America Experience trip back to Rio via Saquerema and Niteroi. I couln´t believe that there were 3 other tourists on the bus! Saquerema is another good surfing beach and the Modern Art Museum at Niteroi (the old Rio) is architecturally brilliant. It is shaped like one of the local flowers in the area which, like the cleanliness of Niteroi´s bay, long since lost to progress. We got back to the familiar Cocacabana Praia Hostel in time to get to the beach before dinner.
