22nd May: Heading to the tourist office proved to be a great idea during this unseasonally rainy day. The most helpful multilinguist assisted with providing me with information on Portuguese study, long term accomodation, surfing spots, and cycling/bus tips. While sampling some of the local cuisine on the way back, I realised that the Brazilian cold I had taken such good care of had caught up with me, so the afternoon was spent with some Betadine gargle & sleep.. followed by the task of developing photos onto CD.. I´m getting used to the shops being open till 7.. It was pretty hard to say no to going out, but hey.. there's the weekend coming up.
