18th May: Waking far too early..though just late enough to let Michael from next door clean up all the bottles, we enjoyed a relaxed breakfast and headed to the Brissy airport with Elaine, to enjoy some more dried fruit and nuts on the Qantas flight to Sydney. On getting back to Mike´s flat we chilled then headed to the Broadway cinema about 3 to queue for Star Wars II. Leaving Broadway at 8:30, Mike to myself and the newly arrived Tom (Mike´s mate from Canberra)to The Rose hotel - very impressive yuppie/student hang-out serving big beers and big meals. After heading to another bar in Newton, the night was a great send-off, especially with the midnight felaffel!
