Hello! My name is Heather! Welcome to the humble abode of ORTRTA… that is currently in the making. As you can see by my lack of stuff, I’m just starting out. In all honest to God truth, I have no idea what I’m doing. But there is hope! My friend has kindly decided to help me build my own little world for the use of my guild and other things. Like the Lord of the Rings!
The guild, “One Ring to Rule them all…” (or ORTRTA), located at www.neopets.com under my screen name ‘lady_wood’, has begun to flourish and spread its influence beyond just those few people that I begged and pleaded to join. Our guild now has newer members, which I would now like to formally thank for joining. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because of you, I have decided to keep going on it and to update it as much as I can. And now that we have this web site at our disposal… the ideas are endless!
But anyway, enough about this, this is supposed to be about me! I am a young purist/obsessed girl who has way too much time on her hands and has decided to start up a nice little round of obsession-based fun for those other LotR fans out there. Even if you are not a member of my little guild, I invite you to explore and have fun while you are here. And don’t forget to sign my ‘lil guest bookie pwease when I set that up!
I am currently studying, although at which grade level I will not mention, and I hope to take a Tolkien based course as soon as I can. (Yeah! There really are college courses based solely on the work and history of Tolkien! Cool, huh?) I have many new plans for this site, including a fan fiction section, a quiz page, a couple character shrines that will appear soon, a mystery pic. page, a LotR pic. gallery, and even maybe… if I get really daring… nah, I think I’ll keep that as a surprise to make you all come back. I need some motivation for you people to come visit me, don’t I?
Well, I think that’s good for now. I’ll be trying to update this as much as I can, but it is said that this will be a busy year for me, so we shall see. And indeed we shall.
