Which Field?

The boys and girls soccer teams usually play at the SHS football stadium - YellowJacket Stadium. If the football season overlaps with soccer the games move to the Sportsplex.

From the West on US-82

Take the first Starkville exit (Hwy-25 S). Exit Hwy-25 at the second exit (MS-12) and at the bottom of the exit road, turn left (East). Follow MS-12 for ~ 2 miles and look for the junction with Louisville St. (It has a Walgreens drug store on the opposite left-hand corner).

Turn right (south) on Louisville and continue a short distance to a set of traffic lights. Turn left onto Yellowjacket Dr. and drive a short distance past the school and you'll see the stadium on the right. Don't park beside the school, there is a side road, with parking, that runs beside the stadium (Ekford Dr)

From the East on US-82

Take the first Starkville exit (Hwy-182W). Follow 182 past the highway patrol and research park/MSU entrances until you see an overpass. Get into the left-hand lane and turn onto MS-12 W immediately after the overpass. Follow this road into Starkville.

You will pass a Ramada Inn (on the right). A block further down hwy-12 look for a Cingular wireless store and Shep's dry cleaners (on the left). Turn left at the lights after Shep's (Jackson St.) and then take the second right onto Yellow Jacket Dr.

Yellow Jacket winds around and immediately after the baseball stadium, turn left onto Ekford Dr. The football stadium is ahead and to the left.
