Directions to Gulfport Soccer Fields

Take Hwy 45 south to Meridian, then take I-20 West through Meridian. Just past Meridian the highway splits. Take I-59 South toward Hattiesburg. Take exit 58 at the south end of Hattiesburg (Hwy 98 east) for a couple of miles to Hwy 49. Turn right (south) on 49 which will take you to I-10 at Gulfport.

Most of the hotels are just south of I-10 on 49. There are two ways to get to the soccer fields from Hwy 49 (a local map of the soccer fields is listed below. The Gulfport fields are visible from I-10):

• Head west on I-10 west to exit 31 (Canal Road). Turn Right after the exit ramp, and then take the 2nd-right just past the truck stop.
• Head north on Hwy 49 under I-10 and look for Landon Road (The 1st stoplight north of I-10). At this junction you'll see a large shopping center on the right with lots of eating areas (Cracker Barrel, Backyard Burger, etc). Turn left onto Landon Road. Drive a couple of miles and there will be a left turn into the soccer fields (There used to be a sign for the Sportsplex). I found this more convenient than taking I-10.
